I haven't done it in quite a while but I used to melt some and put teaspoon or so into a small glass of juice every morning. I should get back to it regularly as I do think it made me feel better. I do use it as a moisturizer and I also put it on cuts, scrapes, etc. I haven't tried it in my hair though.

Is the ArcTrainer considered an elliptical? I dunno, but I love doing the ArcTrainer. When I first joined the gym, I couldn't do more than 5-10 minutes on it. Now I can do an hour or more. I typically set it at 50 resistance and sometimes I'll even do 100 (max) resistance. Then again at other times, I'll go up and down on…

I suspect you have a great sense of humor. :-)

It's like having twins in the house. I pick one up and the other one cries and wants to be picked up too.

This is Dean. This is Sam.

Okay, that's what I thought but I'm having issues doing it. I'll keep trying though.

Darn it.

Okay, I was trying to post pics but apparently am not doing it correctly. How do you all do it?

Last June, right before I joined the gym, I weighed in at 207 (hence the impetus to join the gym along with a friend). I lost about 15-16 lbs. before joining MFP in March. And now, I'm happy to say when I weighed myself this morning, I was 185 3/4, so 21 1/4 lost so far.

I love beets but have only had them pickled or in a salad from a salad bar. Oh and Beet Jelly. But I've never thought to roast them. It sounds intriguing.

I wish more people would adhere to the live-and-let-live policy. It wasn't appropriate for her to approach you like that. In a word--rude. They just opened a Jimmy Johns where I live but I haven't tried it yet. Sounds good!

Oops, I wasn't clear--by plain I meant with just olive oil and salt and pepper. I was a little unsure of the lemon juice, etc.

I have never roasted a beet. I might try this recipe. But are they good just plain roasted?

I love Facebook. I use it to keep in touch with family and friends, and most especially my worldwide Supernatural (tv show) fandom family.

I just discovered skinnytaste.com (through my buddies here at MFP) just a few days ago and am super excited. I've been browsing the recipes and they look yummy. I printed this chicken one off yesterday and want to try it ASAP. Did anyone else see the brownie batter pancakes? They look sooo good too.

I so identify with this. Many years ago I belonged to WW and would go to the meetings, but I was always, always self-conscious when getting on the scale. Even if they claimed they weren't there to judge, they judged. And they always had this "look". Anyway, I joined MFP around mid-March and while I haven't lost a super…

A trillion? Woo hooo!! See what the awesomeness of Supernatural/Jared/Jensen does for me. **grin** To be honest, photo ops with them is what spurred me on to start my weight loss journey. Gotta admit, Supernatural is my obsession. Thanks for the smile--you'll never know how much I needed it today.

8.5 You have such pretty eyes.

Watching Supernatural. And writing fanfic for it (and several other shows).

Your profile pic is sideways.

Creature275, well, with that pic, I'd certainly say 10.

Now that I think about it, I think my ex-husband may very well have been embarrassed by me. Heh.

Yep, I was going to say this exact thing! Supernatural is beyond awesome!

I recently bought a coconut milk and almond milk blend and I liked it. Enough to eat it on cereal!

I used to belong to WW a long time ago and never did have too much success with it. People had been pestering me to go back to WW but I didn't want to as I didn't have the money. And then one day about six weeks ago, a friend introduced me to MFP and it's been a godsend. Hope you like it here. As others have said, feel…
