  • Does anyone else say that pure cardio is their favorite? For some reason, it's easier to get through without breaks. I do slow down sometimes though.
  • There is an option to turn the music on/off. I turn the music off and play my own as it gets me more pumped.
  • Of all the exercises, ski abs kill me the most. It's really that three-exercise sequence in a row where you first do the suicide jumps/pushups, then ski abs, then in & out abs. It's the only sequence in which I take breaks. It's hard to tell if I'm getting better or not (week 3 starts tomorrow).
  • You could even leave out the chocolate chips & peanut butter. Just put some vanilla and maybe some nutmeg into that frozen banana and it's delish.

  • I came to the same conclusion regarding giving the company pics for a T-shirt. I want to control where those pics go! BTW, those are amazing results for the fit test! For switch kicks, did you count each kick as a rep, or every other kick as a rep? The instructions said 2 kicks = 1 rep.
  • I started on March 18th. I completed week on on Friday, March 23rd, but have had a bad back for the last several days (ironically, it started on Saturday, the rest day). I am gradually getting better and hope to continue today or tomorrow with week 2.
  • Here's what is working for me. I hope it helps you too. I have fully embraced the advice in the nutrition guide to have 5 basically equal sized meals a day. I am getting inspiration from the meals in the guide, but not following it exactly. Basically, I'm trying to focus on foods in the food list at the back, and combining…
  • That is a fabulous birthday present! I did my first 10K in February 2011 and completed a half marathon in May. Good luck, and enjoy the journey!
  • Actually, that's an awesome motivation. If you can prove to yourself that you can put yourself first despite all the craziness, you'll truly realize long term success. Last year (September-December) was absolutely nuts at work, but I made a point to do my P90X workout no matter how late at night it got. It has really…
  • Awesome! We're birthday buddies. Feel free to friend me if you want some extra motivation.
  • That's awesome! P90X really works if you stick with it. I lost about 13 pounds and 16" (so, trading fat for muscle). I've since done P90X2 and am now doing my first round of INSANITY. I'm loving the beachbody workouts so far.
