My heart rate monitor tells me I burn WAY more by running. I've tested this theory a few times. Besides, I feel better when I run. I can feel all the muscles in my body getting stronger by running - not just my legs. I have fallen in love with running the last few years because of how it makes me feel.

I prefer ground turkey breast over all the other options. I've been considering grinding my own because it's getting harder to find the 99% FF ground turkey breast. Where do you buy it? I can only find frozen whole breasts in the stores around where I live.

I haven't tried any of the "fitness" games. We use it just for family fun with games like, Sports, Adventures, Kung Fu Panda, etc. You can get good and warm with those, so I bet the fitness-oriented games would be really good for exercise. It's way better than sitting on your butt with a controller in your hand. :)

There's nothing wrong with snacking as long as you're making healthy choices and staying within your calorie goals. Special K Oats and Honey mixed with 1/2c. of Chobani vanilla yogurt gets me through the morning. It's the only combo that fuels me up to keep me from feeling hungry an hour later.

A good pair of running shoes and perseverance. Just keep at it and your endurance will build. A year ago I could barely make it 10 minutes. Now I can go 4 miles outside everyday or 40+ minutes on the treadmill.
