I use half & half and splenda, but I drink quite a bit of coffee. If you only have one cup a day I wouldn't worry too much about it!

When we first got our dogs our trainer recommended a body harness that has the hook for the leash on the front rather than up on the back. It works wonderfully because if the dog tries to pull it flips them around and they soon learn it does them no good to try and jog ahead. Also, use a regular leash and not the…

I've used a lot of their products because the Ideal Protein that I was on for a while reccomends them. The salad dressings are good and the maple syrup is great. I've had the mayo's and they are ok, but they are so expensive I tend to stick with fat free miracle whip instead. The peanut butter is disgusting, don't waste…

Just saw this earlier on Facebook; great visual!

If you don't like other creamers or sweeteners just slowly start to use a little less of what you like. Each week decrease what you put in your coffee by 1/8 tsp until it’s a calorie intake you feel comfortable. Black coffee is truly an acquired taste!

Except for the weekend I always have to have breakfast that I can take on the go, but some of my favorites are protein shakes, protein bars, jimmy dean delight sandwiches or the smart ones sandwiches, homemade granola bars. You can also google omlete in a mug, those are pretty good and quick.

I will add you! You can never have too big of a support group!

Wow, you look great! Keep up the amazing work! I am 27 years old, 5'7" and started out in the mid-300s. I also have had stall out weeks over the months of dieting and exercise, but usually I am losing inches (or portions of inches) during the stalled weeks. Do you measure yourself as well as weigh yourself? It can make a…

My husband is 6'0" and 185 and his HRM says he burns about 215-250 going 3-4 mph with the incline on. I am shorter and weight more than you do, but I wear an HRM when on the elliptical and I usually burn about 250 in 30 mintues going an average speed of 2.5-3 mph and the incline off. MFP's numbers are always drastically…

I have one of these and I LOVE it! You still get quite a few calories from using potatotes though. Have you tried kale chips? If you google it you will find multiple recipes. They aren't quite the same but they are good and crunchy!

I've lost about 80 pounds but still have another 80+ to go. Feel free to add me! And good luck!

I also have a 40 hr/week desk job. I definitely agree with others who recommend walking over your lunch hour. Whenever I am able to do so I always feel better through the afternoon and find I do not "boredom snack." In the evenings why not try activities that you can do with your kids (it's never too early to start…

It can be very frustrating when your family and friends are not supportive. I've had a few of those people in my life as well. Feel free to add me; I'd be happy to help support your weight loss journey. Good luck!

Yes, you need to get the sensors wet. If you are worried about getting it too wet just run your finger under the faucet and swipe over the sensors a couple times.

You look amazing! Congratualtions and thank you for the inspiration!

I feel SO much better the more weight I lose. I have a lot more energy - at my highest weight I would come home from work and not even have enough energy to make dinner or do laundry (and I have a "sit at a desk all day" job). I sleep a lot better - especially on days when I exercise. And the best part is I actually crave…

Congratulations and keep up the good work!

Yep, I've found the same thing. Started my weight loss journey using the MFP numbers and hit a wall pretty quickly. Then I got an HRM and realized why! You can get them for a decent price on Amazon and some of them calculate the calories burned for you once you enter your weight, etc.

Good for you; you are looking great! It always amazes me when it suddenly hits me that I'm beginning to look different.
-
Wow, you look great! Congratulations and thank you for the motivation!!

Ground turkey is a great substitution for groud beef. You cook it exactly the same. The Jennie-O website has some recipes and the Hungry Girl website has some good ones as well.

They have quite a large price range depending on what functions you would like them to have. I ordered one from Amazon recently for about $50 but they can also go up to a few hundred dollars.

Welcome! This is a great site and I think you will find that you like it. I'm not a vegetarian; however, I am also on a high protein, low carb, low sugar diet. Lost 78 pounds so far and have another 90 or so to go. Feel free to add me and good luck!
