• Myfitnesspal has me set to eat 1200 calories and yes, I am hungry but I think the stomach begins to get used to it as well. Actually, the cure for this hunger is to exercize enough to earn more calories to be eaten! My sister walks about 5 miles a day now and that gives her hundreds of calories extra to eat....and she…
• Goodness, I didn't realize that this was such an old thread! Sorry! How did it all turn out?
• I like Kim's answer. You know this woman and I don't so you probably have a better handle on how she thinks. I do know, however, that my sister and I are doing this together and we talk about it pretty constantly---for months---and even I am getting tired of hearing about what we are doing! Perhaps it's just getting to be…
• I hope you'll give us an update on how things are working.
•
"I changed it from 2lbs a week to 1 lb a week, I think 1200 might have been too low. So even if she ate all her activity calories back she still lost weight?"
Exactly! Thinking you've burned more calories than you actually have? When I was being really careful I was able to lose the pound a week. Once I started "maintaining", I just started guessing…
• I seem to wring my hands or if I have something in them I twist it all up. Daughter was always telling me I was clicking my fingernails when driving. Nervous habits I don't usually realize I'm doing.

• Sizes have changed a lot since the "old" days. When I was young and thin in the late 1970's, 125 pounds wore a size 7/8. I think when I was 112 I was in a 5/6. Also 5'4.
