  • Thank you Lucy:) I just received my books in the mail today. Jenny
  • Lucy, Thank you for hosting this wonderful challenge! Jenny
  • Thanks krisgils33:) It just gets frustrating sometimes when you know you are doing the right things but it isnt reflected on the scale. I need to stop obsessing over my scale lol. We have always had a love/hate relationship.
  • My goal for week 7 is also to not let myself get discouraged when the scale doesn't move. I've been exercising religiously. I take between 8 to 10 zumba classes a week, walking a mile 4 days a week during my work break and keeping track of eveything I consume. I've managed to drink 13 glasses of water a day which is huge…
  • My group trainer told me to drink 104 oz a day which works out to 13 glasses of water. It has been a struggle because I hate plain water. I use the crystal light Pure drink mix to give it some flavor. I have a reusable water bottle that I use and it has a dial on it to keep track. The downsize is that I have to pee like 15…
  • Congrats guys:)
  • So I did up my water intake. I drank 11 glasses except for a few I only had 6. I also exercised every day but 1. I've been logging every single thing I've been eating also. It helps keep me accountable to myself. This next week, I'd like to increase my cardio and do some extra weight training. Jenny
  • Congrats everyone!
  • I found one that was on a Halls cough drop wrapper of all places a few days ago. It said: Don't give up on yourself Jenny
  • Lucy, I love the green giant individual veggies trays also. I love the broccoli and cheese one that is only 40 calories:) Jenny
  • My fav lower cal snacks would be honey greek yogurt, raw almonds, and key lime greek yogurt. They are all high in protein which is what I need. I adore peanut butter cheerios as a nightly snack. I have 3/4 cup for about 110 calories. I am a peanut butter junkie and the cheerios give me that fix without doing it in a high…
  • I met my goal of adding 3 days of strength training to my week. I did a kettlebell DVD 1 day and did 3 sets of 12 squats, lunges and crunches for the other 2 days. I did 6 zumba classes and my z fit group training class also. I did okay on adding more water to my day. I drank about 8 to 9 glasses a day. This week, I want…
  • congrats everyone:)
  • I've started adding the crystal light ones with stevia this week. It does help me drink the water. I was told to stay away from the ones with asperthame in it. I don't know how anyone can drink it plain. At least the flavor makes it have a little taste to it.
  • This week I want to throw in 3 days of weight training to my routine. I have an awesome 30 minute kettlebell DVD by Bob Harper from Biggest Loser that is good. I did it on Sunday and I felt it big time on Monday. I also want to increase my water intake from 52 ounces to 78 ounces. Drinking water is my biggest struggle. I…
  • I google it. I'll type in : applebees chicken wrap and then it almost always comes up. you could also try livestrong.com.
  • My goal is too drink more water and try to get more sleep. I'd also like to add more strength training into my cardio routine. jenny
  • Zumba is so much fun. It feels like going to a dance party instead of working out to me. They say you burn between 500 and 900 calories a class.
  • I do zumba about 4 times a week. I have a DVD Jillian Michaels yoga meltdown that I like. I just started it called Yoga meltdown.
  • I've been told to drink lots of water, get enough slepp and eat enough protein.
  • I have 2. Today is hard but yesterday was harder. Slow and steady wins the race. Jenny
  • Lucy, A big thank you for putting this challenge together and a big thank you to our team captains. I am so excited to get started. I signed up with mfp yesterday. Having a support system is very imporatant and I can't wait to start this journey. Jenny
