I have this same problem. The things I hate are, "Did you lose weight?" No I just woke up one morning 3 sizes smaller!? OF COURSE I LOST WEIGHT! Another one is, "How much have you lost?" Sorry, my dear, I don't care how much I like you unless I choose to share that information with you, it is none of your damn business. I…

If you can find an adult beginner ballet class that may do the trick. That's cardio & toning all at once, plus it will help your posture and flexibility. Or go for a pilates class - similar idea... cardio & toning using your body as it's own resistance. Or take up a hobby like social dancing, that way you can be out…

Yeah, I've been at a plateau for about 3 months now, so I decided let's just bump up that daily calorie count and see what happens. I haven't seen any scale movement, but I've gone down a bra size and had WAY more energy. Here here to eating a little more (& keeping it healthy more often than not) and feeling better.

It's so exciting to see results! Congrats! :)

That is way excellent. I remember when I got into my 'skinny' jeans, and then when they became too big. All advances towards a healthier you are worth celebrating, no matter what the silly scale reads. :)

The hip local coffee place, the zumba/salsa studio where I take class, my knitting group, the community theater where I spend a lot of my time, and probably a lot of different bars around. ha!

Gap & Old Navy are owned by the same company. SO it makes good sense that both of them have WONKY sizes.

It's definitely a big day to finally be beneath that 200 marker. Congrats! :)

Pretty much anything by Pitbull. Love the beats and his sexy voice.

YUP! I am currently thinner than I have ever been as an adult (including High School & College). I still have a little more to go, or at least body shaping to accomplish. If the scale never dips lower I'll live, but I know I can continue to tone up.

Wonderful! It's such a treat to be in a smaller size, but buy just what you need to get by. I was in the same boat and by the time I felt I had a full stock of what I wanted, I went down again... (I know... such a trouble to have... haha). But seriously, GO YOU! :)

I Agree with the previous posts that it sounds like you need 2 different shoes. For Zumba I use dance sneakers. Bloch makes a couple split sole options that I like, and they're a lot lower than the capezio versions. Sanita also makes a decent dance sneaker. (I highly recomend the site discountdance.com if you're looking to…

My bust/band ratio has shfited as I've lost weight. Before I started my weight loss kick I was in a 42 D. Then as I lost the weight, I went to a 42C, then a 40 D, and now I'm in a 38 DD, still not yet at my Goal weight, so it'll likely shift again. I would definitely say geting moving and grooving on your weight loss plan…

I'm going onto day 6 tonight. After the first 3 days & helping a friend move, I had to take a day off. My upper body has never been so damn sore! But I got right back to it because It's an amazing work out. Although, I'm a little scared about what levels 2 & 3 will bring because level 1 is still kicking my butt.

I don't use a game system for Zumba, but I have lost a good deal of weight by going to classes about 2 or 3 times a week. It's a seriously good work out, and it's fun so it doesn't feel as much like work, and more just like dancing and having a good time. However, if you're not into dancing, then there are probably other…

I also use Endomondo and think it's terrific. I've never had any issues with it.

There are a lot of organic brands that are 110 calories per packet (and that contain NO soy, which I happen to be allergic to) that are pretty delicious as a mid-afternoon snack/ pick me up at the office or at home. Super easy too because all it requires is hot water. It's a decadent treat that isn't going to ruin your…

My name is Rose. Simple right? I get Ruth ALL the time!? Why? I couldn't say.

Isn't it just common sense by now to eat things that are unprocessed and nutritious? Obviously we all enjoy those things that are not in those categories, so limit them, but enjoy them when you like but in moderation. Eat mostly things you can pronounce and know directly where it comes from (not from chemical byproducts…

Since I've lost a little weight I've gone down from a DD to a D, so I'm not quite as big, but I understand the problem. For a while I was using Lane Bryant Sports Bras. They will be TIGHT but that's what you want, you want the mash 'em squash 'em feeling for a bigger bust otherwise it's going to be bounce city. My other…

I've been a big fan of the Clinique Acne system. It's a lot more mild than a lot of the other Acne formulas. I've been using it for 3 years now and yes, I still get the occasional spot, but my T-Zone is SOO much clearer, and my skin isn't a dry flaky irriated mess! Hope that helps...

I know it may sound a little funny, but honestly those Sunsweet Prune Ones have been a huge help to my success. They're chewy, and slightly sweet, but have a lot of fiber, and good things in them, plus it's easy to keep a few in your purse for 'starving' moments, and each one is 25 calories + a boat load of nutrient. Best…

If you like dancing, Zumba is way fun. I like Pilates a lot too, and if you have digital cable there are usually a roating bunch of exercise videos On Demand from your provider (it might take some looking to find) but you're already paying for those, so use 'em!

That's less than where I started, but I'm a little further a long now. Here's to you for having the courage to change! And here's to us for supporting each other's new life choices!

I'm sort of at my mid-point too, and currently I'm at the 'Plateu for about 2 weeks, lose a pound, repeat' mark... it does get frustrating, but thinking about how much better I feel overall keeps me going. I am able to be so much more physically active than I was even a year ago, and dropping those almost 30 pounds has…

Wonderful! Any change that makes you feel better both emotionally and physically is a good one :) Keep it up!

Just, fyi, Cherry Tomatoes are still technically a fruit. (though they are delicious!)

True story. I've read things about the stress of working out causing you to hold onto fat. Well, Zumba never feels stressful to me. It's always fun, so I think it's just finding cardio that you find to be fun, and just go with that. If you enjoy dancing, try almost anything in there, and you'll find the pounds melting off.

Try some greek yogurt (Fage is the creamiest and best), add some fresh berries. Or have a whole piece of fruit, some cheese, and a few crackers/some dried cereal for breakfast. It's more filling than it sounds, plus all of these can be eaten on the go or at your desk at work (if that's an issue for you). But defnitely…

Have you ever had yourself checked for sleep apnea? How old is your mattress? Do you take time to relax before you sleep? There are many reasons a person can feel tired, and adjusting to a new eating plan/lifestyle only upsets your routine. Start taking 15 minutes before you go to sleep to just lay in bed and read. It's a…
