  • They're a healthier form of fast food. I don't even like them particularly, for that amount of calories I would definitely rather make a yummy pasta with veggies or even my own veggie sandwich with everything I like on it. It is convenient though if you're out and about and are too tired or can't be bothered to cook.
  • He used to live with his mother for quite a while prior to us moving in together, I figure now she must have done most, if not all of the cleaning and other chores. I really don't see this as a way I want to live my life long term and I don't even think I want to get married now. I know that if I have the talk with him…
  • We actually do have separate beds which I find quite weird! I never thought at the age of 26 that my bf and I would sleep in different beds. We have an arrangement happening where he has his comfy new double mattress and I have a single mattress on the floor. He expects me to make his bed which I resent a bit I must say…
  • Feeling great not bingeing today!!
  • I've recently found that eating protein rich foods and staying away from sweets has helped me a lot. I'm just not able to control myself when it comes to cakes and chocolate so I know that when I don't have them around, then I'm not going to binge on them. I suggest you try eating more protein and add more vegetables and…
  • Binge-free for one day, I know it's not a lot but I'm starting to feel good about it already...I can do this!
  • Thank you so much for your replies! This was starting to worry me because I know that I NEED to be eating earlier, I know it's impacting on my health and making me gain weight when I have to eat such a big meal right before bed. I guess it's one of the struggles of trying to mesh two different lives together. He always…
  • I've been binging for over a year now, it got to it's worst point just recently where I found myself gaining 10 kgs in a very short period of time...funny how it's so easy to put on and extremely hard to lose!. The only thing that can 'suppress' my binging urge is to exercise and that way I have the mentality that I just…
  • I was excited when I first saw these as well and had to buy some...the truth is they're nothing like real noodles and you're lying to yourself if you say they do. They taste like horrible firm flavorless jelly and they didn't fill me up at all...I would rather make a stir fry with just some yummy vegetables and maybe some…
  • Yeah it's definitely true about healthy food being more expensive. I'm going to be on a tight budget overseas and I will need to buy more canned vegetables than fresh, apparently they hold the same nutritional value.
  • If you're after a savoury snack than I hiighly recommend Falafel with salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, avocado) and add plain greek yogurt...it is SO delicious, I then add a little bit of sweet chilli sauce...yum.
  • My situation is so much like yours it's scary. It's funny because last year I had the opposite problem that I have now...I didn't think about food at all and I was a complete stick. Now all I want to do is eat and my weight spiralled out of control. I'm also binging and then purging. The last time I did this was actually…
  • That is quite bizarre! i wish that happened to me lol. Every time i binge, the day after I have a more solid belly because it's more filled out and I'm pretty certain it's fat and not muscle...wishful thinking.
  • After seeing this i really want to try Insanity...whatever that is lol, im going to do some googling and find out 'cause that's amazing!!
  • I'm old...25 years and from Sydney too! but about to head over to Canada for a little while...feel free to add me as a friend :)
  • Of course it is and life is only what you make it. I LOVE my life and it can be the smallest things that bring happiness like my dog or a warm summers day.
  • I feel so much more motivated knowing I have all these people doing it with me! this is very exciting - i still have to weigh in monday though and geez im scared...i havent been weighed since easter and i ate SO much food over that period
  • I've had this stuff in my cupboard and had no idea what to do with it, this is excellent!
  • Does anyone have a time frame? How many calories are you eating?
  • To be honest, it is incredibly hard. i have tried it before and it made me so miserable and cranky. Have you tried just sticking to the MFP plan and that way you decrease your calories and still be eating some good foods. I have read in a couple of health books that replacing one meal with a protein shake per day can give…
  • I'm excited! i just started today and I'm feeling fantastic! My plan is to walk my dog for 30 mins, do 5 - 10 mins of skipping and then do my jillian michaels dvd. I find that once I get myself into a routine I'm so much better at it and want to keep going. I'll be getting weighed on Monday but after easter and everything…
  • my goal is to exercise 6 days a week and stay within my calories, then have one day where i eat the meal of my choice for brekky, lunch or dinner. That's what i want to start doing and then I have something to look forward to, not depriving myself of what i want...i think it would help with my binges.
  • This man sounds exactly like my uncle unfortunately, he's always making cruel remarks about my weight and let me tell you...he's not skinny himself! he has a huge gut but he has lots of self confidence to make up for it.
  • ooo adding yogurt is an excellent idea! i love that chobani greek yogurt...yummy
  • bump. id be interested too - its so hard to shift the last 10lbs for some reason!
  • aw i love quorn! i was so excited to find this being a vegetarian. its probably not that great for you, maybe even the same calories as real processed meat but it's good when youre craving that kind of food sometimes.
  • I'm sure i eat enough, i eat my 1200 plus most of my exercise calories. if you saw what my body looked like im sure you would agree that i could lose a few extra kilos. all i want to be is 50kgs, that is when i look my best. i'm really at a loss of what to do now because ive tried everything, i can't seem to lose weight…
  • I just had 2 pieces of crumbed fish with veggies for dinner...delish!
  • It's not easy but it is a lot of fun and you feel great afterwards. I looked ridiculous because I have no rhythm at all, no one cares though! you just have to keep moving and it's a fantastic workout.
  • yesss i do that too, it's like i HAVE to keep eating until it's all gone.
