My first half is next weekend. I am both excited and a little scared. My goal for the first one is just to finish in a decent timeframe.

I am a little over halfway. I started this journey with 122 pounds to lose at my highest of 272. I am now within 30 pounds of my goal and feeling so strong. I am running which I never thought I would be able to do. it's an amazing feeling

I completely agree! I have been running and just added weight training. My current weight (as of this morning) was back over 200 but I'm wearing a 14/16. You definitely need to add some resistance training of some sort to your routine.

Congratulations!! That must feel amazing! I am patiently waiting for that day.

Absolutely not. I have a friend that chose to have the surgery and she and I got to talking a couple weeks ago. Even after the surgery she still has the same struggles I do to eat right and to exercise and to not gain it all back. It is a different journey for everyone and each person has to decided what is best for them

I work from home and am constantly battling the schedule to fit everything in because even though I work I am still expected to keep up with everything around here. It is very difficult. But I have found that if I schedule my workout in like an appointment then I am in a better mood and happier than if I had skipped it all…

I love it. I use it in the mornings in my oatmeal and then at lunch I have a shake and then a sensible dinner with two healthy snacks.

I personally think that if she were to get in my face and call me on my bs it would be so beneficial for me. Have never had someone be that blunt and hones and forceful with me and it landed me at almost 300 pounds 6 years ago. I have been fighting for 6 years to get me back and with no one like her in my life it has taken…

I am getting a tat done of a cross that my son drew for me. It was supposed to be my reward for breaking 200 but finances have pushed it back a bit. I should mention this will be my first tat

You have come a long way! You should be proud! I started this in 2007 at 272 and as of this morning I am at 192.9. Your loss is a major accomplishment and an inspiration to us all! One day, one step at a time!
