Wichita, KS 40 with a high of 60 but tomorrow in the 40's and 30's on Saturday. Welcome to Kansas....wait 5 minutes. It will change

Wow...that's fantastic!

I am working on the last 40 to 50 pounds (again) and hope to have it gone by August. Slow and easy. I have been at this since 2007

Remember portion control, not limiting completely. Like others have said, if you plan accordingly you should be able to afford some not so healthy options.

I have tried diet pills and either they do not work or once you stop taking them you gain the weight back. There is no easy button to losing weight. It is either log the hours and make a lifestyle change or continue yo-yoing the weight.

I started running in 2012. Couch to 5K is an amazing program and like timmsyc stated it hurts when you first start. Many times I wanted to quit and did. Start slow, maybe walking 30 minutes a day, and slowly increase your speed. Work on your endurance first and then build on from there. I started barely able to walk 2…

I love this goal! My new hubby and I have discussed having a baby but it would take a tubal ligation reversal and I want the both of us to be healthy. Good luck, doll!

Two years to 40, kiddos mostly out of the home, and 40 to 50 pounds from goal (again)!

32 oz water bottle that I fill up 3 times a day and reduced fat wheat thins. My boss is constantly giving out bite size chocolate so I have a little stash too.

This is difficult for me because I hit my initial goal of 200, got my tattoo, got down to within almost 10 pounds of my overall, and gained it all back. I guess I have to come up with some new goals as the old ones just don't work for me anymore. I would like to run a full marathon and finished my half in October in under…

I'm holding off until the "Resolution" crowd has evened out and working out at work using the stairs.

Yes....it works as well as you make it work. Have to commit to the lifestyle change in order to be completely successful. I have been a member since 2012 and had gotten down to 189 from 272 prior to life taking me for a ride.

Mine is on here with me.

I would definitely give it more than a few days. Drink lots of water and watch your sodium intake.

I have been battling my weight since I was 10. I was always the fat, ugly sister in comparison to my two gorgeous sisters. I was molested at 10 and thought that the weight would protect me. My turning point was seeing a photograph of myself from Thanksgiving 2006. I was 9 months pregnant and huge. I couldn't wear normal…

Music with a good driving beat! I can't resist moving faster as the beat increases.

My doctor actually complimented me on my weight loss and was trying to work with me to keep me off of medication. She discovered that I was having problems with my thyroid and due to the stress of a nasty divorce and the death of my stepfather suggested complementing my running and diet with antianxiety medication…

Absolutely stunning! Fantastic work!

I was like that. For ten years, my ex (and the children) made me feel guilty for wanting to take care of me, however, something I learned is that in order for me to continue being able to take care of everyone else I had to take care of me first. There is no exception. Now, my new husband is insistent that I take time for…

I am kind of a newbie. Have been running/walking since 2012 and am hoping to run my second 1/2 marathon in October.

As a larger runner myself, I can tell you to start slow. Walking and then build up from there. As you lose weight it will become more comfortable. The expense of a good sports bra will be worth it in the end. Let your body get used to the activity as you build up. I have been increasing my speed by 10% maybe once a month.…

You are beautiful honey! Don't let anything stop you!

Coming from a person who started at 272 and stands at 5'5" in 2007 and has been fighting since then....dieting and weight loss is not supposed to be done in a quick amount of time. In order to lose it and keep it off it is a journey that takes time. 37 days is really not a good measure of time depending on your height and…

I started at almost 300 pounds at 5'5" and definitely start with walking or swimming. Will build up your endurance and strength.

Amazing!!

I just got Sauconys and they are fantastic. I do recommend that you go to a running store and get fitted. for all the reasons listed.

Looking fabulous, darling!!! I am a mom of three working from home with two of the three with special needs and I have gone from a size 24-26 to a 14-16. I have lost 60 pounds but many more inches and feel much stronger. There should be no excuse to take care of yourself.

Congrats!! That is an amazing feeling!
-
Wow!! Good for you, doll

Having been big most of my life, I have learned that the outside appearance is just that, an impression of a person that they put forth to the outside world. I have learned to look at more than just the physical because for so long all I had was my personality and what the physical appearance could offer me. While I would…
