I'm pretty sure that red dress needs to be taken in. Definitely looking a little loose on you these days :) It looks like your posture has even improved! Keep up the good work! Pretty soon you will be looking at your before pics and wondering.."Did I ever really look like that?"

I go back and forth.. sometimes I measure everything and sometimes I don't. I do have a scale that I use at home and I tend to follow the portion sizes that are one the sides of the box.

Good job!

NSV stands for non-scale victory. It kind of threw me at first too.

I was right there with you. I was hoping to cross over last week but I flatlined for a week. It made my day this morning.

Good morning everyone! As of this morning I am no longer obese!!!!!! Weight in at 202.0. Feeling really good right now :)

I was definitely hungry the first few weeks that I started. I think my stomach just needed time to shrink down to a proper size. Everyone has bad days but those can be beneficial too in jump starting your metabolism as long as you keep them to a minimum. I don't think I would be able to stay in my calorie alloted if I…

I have no idea how often one should work out.. I know that I run 3 miles during the week days and 4-5 on the weekends. If I give myself an "off day" every week then I tend to abuse it. I also have difficulties staying in my calories if I don't have some added exercise calories to work with.

Good morning... quick disclaimer- I'm off work today and I usually weight myself there (Dr. office) and I don't think my scale at home is quite as accurate but it is reading at 204.

I would love to also join! Current weight 206.2! See you ladies on Monday.

Right there with you sister.. I don't have 100 lbs to lose but I am fed up being the "fat" friend. My goal is to be a skinny b@tch for my birthday in July.

You're husband sounds like a good man! You are doing amazing work.
-
Are you also taking measurements? Do those seem to be changing? Don't get too stuck on the scale. A lot of times your body takes time to adjust to the new changes and platues but it will start going back down if you stick with it.

Great job on both accounts- quiting smoking and kicking butt at the elliptical!
-
It looks like you are standing next to your mom! You look amazing. Definitely inspirational.
-
Amazing work! Keep it up!
-
Very true.. and I have a lot to shovel.. That is my after work project!
-
Love the pink streaks in it! I think you did a fab job!

I am considering it but not sure if I will. If I were to get one I would get my son's footprint from when he was a newborn on my shoulder blade.

My beginning of the day calorie goal is 1480 but I eat at least 1/2 of my exercise calories back. I am 5' 10" current weight is 211.8 calories burned from exercise: 800-1000 daily. ( I run 3 miles when I wake up and walk on my lunch break, I run farther on weekends)

Thanks for sharing! I ran a full marathon in 2005 but it wasn't until this part year that I considered myself a runner because I am out there everyday doing 3 miles in the morning before work and actually enjoying it.

Welcome Katy! I know it was really hard for me when I first started with MFP to keep in my calories. The best thing I found was to keep veggies and fruit around to munch on when the craving hit. After a week or two my stomach shrunk and I didn't have a lot of cravings. I also started an exercise regiment. I started small…

Wow.. I am so amazed and proud of you! Keep it up!

I'm 5' 10" and currently weigh 213. I just got into a size 14 (yeah!) but I would love to be in a size 10...over the moon if I could get into a size 8. My goal weight is between 150-160.
-
This is great! Keep going!

I work at a hospital so I way myself in the morning when I get to work. This means I run three miles and eat a little before I weigh in but I have been pretty consistant. I have a scale at home but it puts me 5 lbs under what I get a work and I think my work one is more accurate.
-
Don't forget to take your measurements! After the first few weeks your weight my platue for a bit but the inches still come off.
-
Good for you, that is awesome!
-
Good for you! I am fairly excited about getting my clavicles back- I share your joy!

I have a pretty cool pedometer that I got for Christmas that keeps track of my regular steps and then my aerobic steps (those are steps that are at least 60 steps per minute for at least 10 min) I count my aerobic steps but not my regular steps.
