  • Totally. There is this girl at my gym that has a ROCKIN' body and, even better, she's super nice and helpful. But a lot of the guys and some of the girls say she looks like a dude. IMO they're usually just jealous. :grumble:

  • I log tea as water as long as it's unsweetened. i usually just get unsweet with some lemon and I'm all set. I think I'd log coffee as water if I didn't add sweetener and creamer  I'm on the fence as to whether things like Crystal Lite and Kool Aid should be counted as water.
  • Golden Grahams. I still eat it occasionally but I'm now in love with the Cinnamon Burst Cheerios which are better for me anyway!!
  • BAH! I'd love to do this but I'm starting another TurboFire cycle. :( But definitely keep us all posted and let us know how it is - that might be the next program I try!
  • Yes - PLEASE get the word out and don't be afraid to say something or ASK someone if you suspect they are thinking about suicide. It could save their life. If you know of anyone who may be experiencing suicidal thoughts, call 1-800-273-TALK. That's the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and they are staffed 24 hrs a day…

  • OMG, I think I might have to eat this tonight - sounds so yummy!
  • I had a guy come take dumbbells out of my hands once while I was doing chest flys (flies?). He then proceeded to give me a lecture on "proper lifting." I was more angry than embarrassed but it was very uncool. P.S. I should probably note that I'd worked out with a trainer before and was using proper form as I was taught...…
  • I add some coconut to my Chobani pineapple - pina colada in a cup! SO GOOD!
  • I've thought of a few things: 1. I'll finally get my phoenix tattoo (I've been wanting one for YEARS!) 2. Get boudoir shots taken for my husband. 3. A trip somewhere I can show off my fabulous bikini body!
  • Chicken nuggets dipped in honey!
  • I got ridiculously sick a few weeks ago and it turned out I had a stomach virus AND a UTI at the same time (lucky me!) Anyway - the doc put me on Cipro and I went from being down 5 pounds from being so sick to up 6 pounds. I'd be willing to bet it had to do with the antibiotics but I think my post illness diet had…
  • I just did this too! Mine are by my bed so they are the first thing I see when I wake up and the last thing I see before I go to sleep :) Now to just get my motivation boards up....
  • It's weird because when I read this, my first thought was "yeah!" I definitely feel smaller than I am and when I see pictures where I really look big, it's almost hard to believe. But on the other hand, when I'm talking to friends, co-workers, etc. about it and I tell them how much weight I want to lose, they always tell…
  • In general, I follow the below the neck rule - if I have symptoms below my neck, I don't exercise. However, I also avoid working out if I have fever or if I'm just feeling too bad to make it through. I guess for me, I have to decide if it's a "suck it up" situation or an "I really AM sick" situation. That being said when I…
  • These are some of my favorites: 1. A sliced apple with peanut or almond butter. 2. Yogurt with fruit and/or granola. 3. Baby carrots and hummus (I add some sriracha for extra kick!) 4. Bagel thin with peanut butter. 5. Laughing Cow cheese with whole wheat crackers.
  • I don't eat the same thing for breakfast every day, however I do have about 3 breakfasts that I cycle through: 1. Cereal (usually either cinnamon burst or peanut butter Cheerios) with almond/coconut milk and a piece of fruit (usually a banana). 2. A breakfast burrito. I use La Tortilla Factory Smart & Delicious Low Carb…
  • I have to cheat from time to time. That sounds bad but if I don't indulge my cravings on occasion, they just build up and I end up binging. NO BUENO! :noway: So instead, I try to keep it under control by having my little cheats. As far as how to do it... I cannot for the life of me remember where I read this but I saw in…
  • I've never been to Bennachin so I'll have to check it out. Eating out healthy in NOLA is hard though... I used to go to Cafe Rani and get their bronzed tuna (no butter/oil) with a side of steamed veggies and a salad but they have these HUGE slices of cake.... Let's just say it didn't end all that well usually :P I'm still…
  • I would love to be a part of this! Turbo fire is my soulmate workout (as if you couldn't tell from my username  ) and I'd love to take on the challenge and meet some peeps here on MFP (since I'm a newbie ;))
