  • I work out 7 days a week, but mix it up throughout the week. 2-3 days include strength training. All 7 days include cardio (one day run, another elliptical, then just a less intense walk/incline workout) and stretching. Caley
  • My go to if the battle against my cravings gets out of control is air-popped popcorn. I measure by the cup and I always eat only within my calorie range. It sure takes the edge off and is a lot better than hitting that WHOLE chocolate cake or bag of chips with a jar of dip!
  • I had the same issue, too! The inches didn't seem to be coming off and the weight loss was certainly not spectacular, but my clothes were fitting better. That is the time when I take a photo straight on and from a side view. What a revelation! Each time I do it, even though the scale and tape measure don't seem to be…
  • These are all great suggestions! World War Z is excellent. I would recommend giving it a go. And a newer author/series that is wonderful is Hugh Howey's Wool. Five installments and now he is following up with a prequel trilogy set in the same type of environment but at an earlier time. HIGHLY recommend. Caley
  • World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War/Max Brooks. Good stuff!
  • Nice going, Ashley, on your 2lbs loss! Caley

  • Well, when I reach my 66th straight day of working out, I'm treating myself to a pair of really good quality running shoes. When I hit my original goal of 28 days, I bought a second hand acoustic guitar to keep at my other home for when I am commuting. When I reset the goal at 66 to max again at 101 days, I will have to…
  • I'd love to be in on this one!
  • Hand's down logging all of my food every day and working out every single day, no excuses!
  • Not focusing on the numbers moving - or NOT moving - on the scale has been the hardest part of this whole process for me. To get past it, I really started to focus on the inches being shed. Then I stopped avoiding the mirror and really started to look at myself noting the changes happening. This has been a revelation, no…
  • Hi there, Took me too many years to get my head in the right place for this and I wish I had started much earlier to get it together. My motivation has been coming from a sign I posted on the fridge and the bathroom mirror with the question, "Who do you want to be?" Every time I feel a craving or am coming up with too many…
  • GPrice, How is your E2 experience going? I have recently switched to a plant-based diet and settling into it well. The resource that has helped me the most to date has been The Complete Idiot's Guide to Plant-Based Nutrition. I have delved into other related books as well, but am finding this one to sort of bring…
