  • Well, if you haven't eaten for a while you'll not have much energy from food to burn so your body will burn fat instead, this doesn't mean its good for you though. It will probably make you very tired the rest of the day as your body tries to recover.
  • You don't necessarily need to have sandwiches for lunch. I quite often make a healthy meal (with lots of lovely veggies) the night before and take it to work in a plastic container. It is easier on the cooking if you make a couple of lunches worth in one go.
  • I'd count it if it's for a decent length of time. I normally do all the housework on a Saturday and count that as my exercise for the day.
