  • I am inspired! I am traveling your direction with weights now, post a 57lb weight loss. Friends with 31prvrbs and many other amazing ppl here on MFP. She brought you to my attention. I have MS and will no longer complain if I can't think right or do something brain wise that someone else can do. It is my individual…
  • I just read this whole thing and am feeling I too am on the right track! Congtrats on the inches lost! :noway: I totally agree that the scale is no longer that important! WAY TO GO! I am new to this and just upped my cals to 1600, it's a little scary but I am so enjoying eating more and feeling better! lifting 3 days and…
  • I am inspired! What a difference!
  • In our "diet mentality" trained brains, wrongly trained, I may say, It doesn't make sense to us that to eat more you will lose more. Certainly there is a line, but new thinking must prevail! Before I started MFP, I was eating almost nothing(around 1200 and only twice a day) and gaining! Then MFP told me with all my info to…
  • Walking! Walking! Walking! I have MS and I could only do 10mins in the beginning. Now I'm doing 2+ everyday! I still hurt but I can at least walk.
  • So beautiful! I started at 234 and am now at 174. I love how toned you are and I am working that way too. I am inspired!!!! Amazing attitude and work! :flowerforyou:
  • Wow, just WOW! Great work!
  • In a relationship it's so important to communicate. You can say what you need kindly and if you get no results, move on. Don't be afraid of being alone. You will be better off than having a non respecting, supportive BF. It seems to me you are afraid to make waves for fear of losing him. Is he worth your health and sanity?…
  • This is me starting at 234, and 10lbs ago at 184. I have lost another 8 since. Goal is 100lbs gone! :blushing: I can't figure how to post my pic. See me as soshiny here! I'd love to learn how to post the pics too. Open for help!
  • I too say have something to eat. If the cravings are still there after a snack, consider that it might be something emotional going on. For me I eat over my emotions and some days I'm starving and others' I feel fine. Think about your week, month, yesterday. Has something happened? Is it an anniversary of some sad event?…
  • I totally agree with the water intake! I drink 13 glasses a day! Also make sure you're not cutting your calories too much. You have to feed your body to lose weight, especially if you're working out. What kind of workouts are you doing? Let us see your food diary to know how many cals you're taking in. Don't go below 1200…
  • If you're eating below 1200 cals a day, you are in starvation mode. You just won't lose then. You need to get that at least everyday. I have the 1200 and a bit more per day, work out daily and I lose. Someone else said too that there will be stalls all along the way. We plateau and then lose again. If the inches are…
  • Great honest, true, calm advice!
  • I agree, just continue on like normal. Don't punish yourself by cutting back today. You did nothing wrong by living your life a little extra on occasion! I also agree with the fluids, which should be a daily thing anyways, but flush your body. It's ok to have a splurge night once and a while! BTW you're beautiful!
  • I wonder about this too. If my "net" for the day is 980 after working out from my 1300 daily, I should eat back to at least 1200 right? I am slowly losing now. Anyone have an answer to my "net" Question? FYI. Muscle does NOT weigh more than fat. A pound is a pound. It DOES take up less space than fat tho. So if you work…
  • I hear perfectionism, and it's a downer. I too am (was) one. I practice everyday to let that go. I can get so tied up in my mind and just want to quit. I also hear you doing too much. You need a rest. Take a day off. I have found that what I think is what I attract to me, so I think good thin things and it is happening to…
  • I eat regular and not "diet" foods. Reg fats...etc. Those "light" foods are loaded with sugar and sugar keeps the weight on. Reg fat foods gives you more cals and not an issue so much with weight loss as diet foods. Too much artificial sweetener will also keep the weight on. I quit drinking so much crystal light and lost…
  • I love the relaxed attitude and lack of perfectionism! The positivity and self acceptance are wonderful! Pics show the proof!!!! You will be at your goal VERY soon! I wish I had those surroundings to walk in everyday! Just beautiful and the traveling! Wow!
  • I just started Zumba tues, .and tonight is another. 2 per week. Don't worry about keeping up, just keep your feet movin when you need to catch your breath. You'll catch on! We have a 78yo woman in our class and she stops when she needs. Does almost ALL of it! I mostly just did footwork at first. I kept it moving for 55…
  • So freakin awesome! Maybe me too someday!!! Great Big Congrats! I'll pick this up!
  • I just had 4oz grilled steak, sm potato baked in microwave, 1/2 C frozen corn, 2 pats butter, 1 tbs A1 sauce. ! Yummy and filling!
  • Freaking awesome! Reminds me to stay the course! Thanks for the inspiration
  • What about using unsweetened almond milk? Tastes great and low in cals and fat. 50%more calcium than milk too! I use the Visalus shakes on the 90 challenge and they taste like a cake mix and can be mixed with anything you like, even coffee. Like Starbucks latte! I have never heard of shakeology.
  • I'm not on px90 either. I am on 90 Day Challenge by Vi. Liking the food plan, and I walk almost every day. I have MS and can't do much exercize yet. For some reason I feel really down today. I felt down even before I did my first week weigh in. I had lost 7 and today i'm up 1, some inches lost. So there is not bad news…
  • I always knew as well, since 10 or so. Why does everyone look at you like there is something wrong with you if you don't want kids? I always thought it was good not to have one when I knew I couldn't give it what it needed. Not like some people. I have my dogs and husband and am very content with that!
  • Hey there, I thought there were none out there as well. I'm 49 no kids, only dogs and a husband! I sure would like more friends! I'm doing ViSalus for weight loss. How are you all and how are you being healthy.
