You are so creative! I grew up in a small town which only had a very small weight room in the 80's. Once sports was over for the school year; I used things like: cutting grass, chopping wood, hoeing weeds. etc. These keep me in incredible good shape. I guess those were the pre-crossfit days. :-)

I need to see responses.. I have gained 5 pounds since I've started doing 35 minutes of step aerobics AND 8 pound weights for my arms AND push-ups [I've been doing these about a month 3-4 times per week]! This is CRAZY! :sad: :indifferent:

I do step areobics alone in my home. I can see results after only doing it for four weeks. YOU have to do what works for YOU! It is all mental :-)

I love avocados! They are generally 250 calories. I don't see how you can gain weight by eating such a natural and wholesome product. I normally eat at least one a day. They are very high in fiber!

This is me to a T! Even though you can't spot reduce; I have found Step aerobics works best for me. It tones up my legs, butt, and thighs quicker than any exercise I have done. I used to take classes, then dvds; now I make up my own routines. I have been doing Step since 1992; so I pretty much have some good routines…

I found when I reduce my carbs to aroudn 100; I lost weight better. Are you hour-glass shaped? If so, reduce your carbs. Good luck!

Yes I have and you can make it! I used to drink 2-32 oz diet cokes every day; PLUS at least a 6 pack of Coke 0 a day. I quit cold turkey on December 3. I had an awful headache the first 2 days. They eased up as time went on. I am proud to say I have only drank water and a little sweet tea (I am from the south) since then.…
