I had VSG on March 15.. so I'm 6.5 mo out and 98 lbs down. Yippie! There is also a VSG group on here with different forums. This site is my daily food diary and has really kept me on track. I have no idea how people who have had WLS know where they are regarding food, without using some type of a logging system. Good luck!…

So sorry that all these challenges are hitting you! I agree with what the above posters have said. Get a different trainer, and speak with them upfront about your history and point blank ask them if they have challenges with working with bariatric patients. Certainly from a loss standpoint, even though you are stalled, you…

Congrats!! Sounds like you are having a normal post op experience! Just be sure to continue to go slow and don't try to push around what your body needs and wants at this point :)

Hi Jen, Congrats on your upcoming surgery. I'll send you a friend req. I was sleeved on March 15. Just be sure to remember when you look at people's food diarys, to look back to the date when they were sleeved. My intakes is pretty different 6 months later from what it was for the first 2-3 months after surgery. Jill

Hi Jennifer, I had my sleeve on March 15th. I'm also not exercising and am struggling to get to it. I've also noticed myself straying further and further from consistant good choices. I just need to recommit my head, I've got a long way to go. I'm all up for jump starting back to plan. :)

*Sigh* Regular sizes... congrats on that one! I can't wait for that. I haven't been in a "regular" (below 14) size since 1988. Jeeesh! I'm going to be completely overloaded when I get back to shopping those departments! Good for you!

Buffalo Hump. So funny!! And I was just saying to myself in the mirror this mornig, "Hey Self, it looks like you have a back of the neck again! So yeah, I'm starting to notice the demise of the buffalo hump!! I no longer have to sit on the bed, stretch sideways to tie a pair of shoes. Yippie! AND I also took the extender…

Hi There, First of all congrats on losing the first 100 lbs!! It's so challenging being on such a long journey. I've been sleeved for a little over 4.5 months, I'm hoping to get to that 100 lb mark by my 6mo surgiversary, and then I too have another 100+ to go. I can imagine how frustrated you must be with your stall. I…

Hello Everyone, I'm Jill. I had VSG on March 15, Scottsdale Healthcare with Dr Swain. So I just passed 4 months, and have lost 75 lbs. Thrilled, although it just never seems fast enough! But I have a long way to go, so as long as it keeps coming off, it's all good.
