I ordered one bag of each flavor today because I needed protein bars anyway. I will let you know next week.

^Yup Except I use a monthly average as opposed to weekly.

I had the same issue trying to squat 3 days a week and run. I've been doing 5/3/1 3 days a week, and running 3 days a week for over a year now with no recovery issues. Like others have said though, you will likely have to go the trial and error route though to figure out what will work for you.

I'm the same way. Squat is my weak link actually. I think everyone has a lift or two that the struggle with for whatever reason.

German/Irish on my Dad's side. Seminole Indian/English on my Mom's. My liver never stood a chance.

Don't feel stupid. We all start somewhere. Like everyone else said, strive to do a little bit better every time, and you'll be just fine. :flowerforyou:

1 1/2 hours a day? Everyday? I'm hoping it's late and my reading comprehension skills aren't working. I'm going to assume that's all cardio, and that you probably need to rest. And develop some patience.

Protein? Fat? Fruit and vegetables are great...if you're meeting all of your macronutrient needs. Also, you know you need fat to absorb quite a few vitamins right? I didn't read the whole thread, so here's to hoping you've decided to add some more calorie dense food by this point :drinker:
-
Yup. Lift now.
-
^This. I have more of a problem meeting my fat goal.
-
+1 Also, I eat chips almost every day. Most days it's a reasonable amount that also fits my macros

<Another vote for lifting heavy. I've been strength training for 2 years. Combined with a moderate calorie deficit, it has completely transformed my body.

Nice!

I just realized it's been entirely too long since my last waffle ice cream sandwich.

Math does no lie. If it's not working, you're doing something wrong. That's the beautiful thing about math. The truths are universal.
