Stronglifts Day 1
I just wanted to introduce myself, I've kind of been lurking in here while doing NROL4W. I finished that program on Thursday, and did my first stronglifts workout this morning. So you'll probably see me around more. I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions at one point or another. :flowerforyou:

Change it up?
Background- I'm in a deficit. I've lost 30 pounds so far. 5' 3" 141 pounds. I think I have about 10 more pounds to lose, but I also wouldn't mind if I stayed the same weight while reducing BF%. According to online calculators, I'm 27%, 23% by calipers. (I have calipers I use at home, so take into consideration user error.)…

Almond milk for a toddler?
My 4 year old tried some and he really likes it. Now he's asking for it instead of the whole milk I keep in the house for him. Is it bad for him not to drink the whole milk? I wouldn't think so, but every time I go to the peditrition they always ask if hes been getting enough milk.

I found this helpful and just wanted to pass along the info. https://www.turbokick.com/wblog/?p=709 I always get nervous when the scale goes up, and have to remind myself that it's not "fat" gain.

Protein powder suggestions please..
I really need to up my protein intake. I drink an iced french vanilla coffee from 7-eleven, every morning..I know, you don't have to tell me it's a waste of calories. So I've been doing research, and would like to try a french vanilla protein powder instead. I'm thinking I could blend it up with some coffee, and drink that…

Body fat % help please
I'm a little confused to say the least. I've checked out about every body fat % calculator I can find, and I get different numbers on all of them. Most of them are putting me in the high 20's. But the military one used on in place of a road map has me at 40% body fat, so that's the number I went with. (I do TDEE-20%) I see…

Sodium questions. Helllllppppp!!
I hear a lot about how too much sodium can hinder weight loss because of water retention. MFP has my sodium level at 2,500. That seems high to me. I've done a little research and I'm seeing 2,000-2,300 mg per day are healthy. I'm wondering if anyone can help me with what a healthy level should be.

Water
I've been increasing the amount of water I'm drinking. I have never been a fan of water, but I know it's important. I've been back at the whole weight loss thing for about a month. I lost ten pounds in the first few weeks, but it seems like since I upped my water intake, the weight loss has slowed. I know that happens…
