Thanks for all of the helpful information!! I had been eating only 1200 calories and felt bad to eat back my exercise calories. I can see now that it important to eat more when I work out.

I am 200 lbs, 5'3" and 26 years old. I get the 700-800 calories from entering my weight into the machines I use at the gym. I usually mix it up and do some elliptical, then treadmill (walking at 3.0 mph at a 12 or 13 incline and then some running at 5.0 mph)

Yes, I have access to a treadmill. I do most of my running on the treadmill at the gym.

A few of you mentioned crock pot cooking as a god way to make low calorie/ healthy meals. Do you have an suggestions on where to get recipes?

Last year I would be lucky to have ran a mile so I am improving. I just have to keep working at it :)

Thank you everyone for the positive feedback. I will definately start running outside more often to get used to it. I do want to do another 5k in the near future. And I have a very good feeling I will shave off quite a few minutes from my first race time.

I am working on week 7 of C25K right now. I am amazed that following the program has actually gotten me up to the point where I can run for 25 minutes! I never thought I would do that in my life. Its tough sometimes, but you just have to keeo telling yourself to keep running. I feel so awesome afterwards!

I think you look smaller than 263. I am 5'3" and 230 and I think you look similar to me or better! :)

Hi. I am 5'3" and 25 years old. SW:250 CW:231 GW: Not quite sure- Im thinking around 160 and then once I get there I will see if I want/ can lose more.
