Hey there! If you go on youtube there is actually the full JM 30 day shred workout available for free. You can always check it out there and decide to buy it later. I'm about to start the shred on the 1st of June, but I'm under the impression that Ripped in 30 is a much harder workout (you might not see as much about it on…

:'( I'm currently in my first 1/2 of weight loss and I can tell my D cup bras are getting too big...I'll end up a C, at the biggest, if I'm lucky. Poo.

Ugh. I asked my doctor a few questions regarding stretch marks... Q: Are there any creams you'd recommend for stretch marks? A: No. None have been proven effective. Okay... Q: With exercise and healthy eating is there a chance my stretch marks will fade away? A: No. Time may decrease the redness but the white is there…

Yeah! Like...what if my thunder thighs are just part of my genetics. GAHG! I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, I guess.
-
Actually, I did. :D I just threw in some of those generic/kinda BS responses you see in threads like this one. Light/moderate cleaning probs won't burn off a 5lbs bag of sugar. Apparently, my sarcasm needs some work :ohwell:

Girlfriend, you've gotta get your head in the game. Don't feel too bad though. Remember this is a LIFESTYLE change, so the occasional cheat day is OK. Actually, everyone knows you have to eat more to lose more! I bet you'll see a slight stall (about 12 hours) then you'll see a "woosh" and you'll lose at LEAST 10 pounds. If…

There are so great recipes and FAQs! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/394-low-carber-daily-forum-the-group Anyone can feel free to add…

This recipe is literally too good to be true. Just thick and sweet enough yet not overpowering. Yummy. I got the basic recipe from some form somewhere but made adjustments and you should feel free to do the same! Half of the fun is in experimenting. 1. 1 C. unsweetened chocolate almond breeze (but I use unsweetened…

I use 1 cup of unsweetened chocolate soy milk. yummy! I also throw in about 8 ice-cubes.

During undergraduate school I worked as a research assistant. The program was all about providing nutritional and physical education to older adults with Type II Diabetes. The researcher's were all women in their 40s/50s and they were all in incredible shape. Even the study participants (at least most of them) where…

I'm starting on Monday. I hope I can make it through...

I vote you hide them away in some closet. Maybe a reward at a milestone or a treat at a party in the future. I have three hanging out in my dresser for a party a few months ago. Out of sight, out of mind! BAM!

I lost my first 35 pounds (out of 100) by nutrition alone. I had a lot of the bad eating habits you described and chose to eat foods that were 100% bad for me. Making nutritional changes were a HUGE shock to my system. I didn't feel that great for about the first week but after that things got better. Simply, nutrition has…

I would definitely watch level one before the challenge begins. I did the shred (well.....week 1) a few months ago and watching the DVD ahead of time gives you less "break time" while you figure out what Jillian wants you to be doing. Every second counts when your workout is only 20 minutes long :)

I turned 21 a few months ago and I SO know what you mean about changing your drinking habits. I stepped away from the UV/late night partying (it was gross anyway), and have made a few other healthy choices that have helped a lot. What I think is truly impressive is your radical change in mindset in such a short time span.…

High weight: 280 lbs Current weight: 249 lbs 1st Goal weight: 199 lbs 2nd Goal Weight: 175 lbs Ultimate Goal weight: ??? As an adult I've never been under 180 lbs but when I was 180ish I was very, very fit and exercised 2-3 hours daily. I liked the way I looked at that weight. Curvy and fit! It will be exciting though to…

Oh wow! There is a HUGE difference in your neck/face area. Lovely job!

I Don't Want to Wait--Paula Cole. Ooo, yeah!

I'm not quite done yet and I don't have 5 NSVs but last night I tried on my senior prom dress and it fit! I was shocked and incredibly excited...my next NSV goal is to fit into the dress I wore junior year.

I buy groceries for just myself and spend about 30 dollars per week. It is more like 35 dollars when I have to buy more meat which is about every third week.

A stick of low fat string cheese. Delicious and only 50 calories!

Starting: 265 Current: 243 Goal: 180 I hold my weight exceptionally well and because of my muscular build/genetics my Dr. told me that 175-190 would be an appropriate weight for my height/build. 180 would look and feel incredibly different on two different women of the same height. Talk to your doctor/nutritionist for some…

I've lost 22 pounds since March 27th 2012 so it still hasn't been quite a month yet. I'm doing a raw food thing this week as a challenge to myself so I expect to drop a few more pounds before the month is over. Although much of this initial loss is water weight it feels incredible to see the numbers fall so quickly. If…

In college I worked for a diabetes research study in which participants in the study were encouraged to lose weight. One method researchers used to promote weight loss was to use products like Slimfast as a meal replacement. This means that participants were not going on the full Slimfast diet but were instead replacing…

My biggest obstacle by far is that I am incredibly impatient. Also, I'm good at watching calories and weight lifting but so bad at cardio. Cardio=Doom

I really can't help you as far as analyzing your diary because I too am having similar questions but I do want to encourage you not to give up! Small losses=big gain in quality of your health. I worked at a diabetes research center in college and was shocked at how the level of severity of the disease could vary base upon…

I've actually been really concerned about a similar issue but mine is more drastic. I've lost 22 pounds in about a week and a half. I've been eating heaps of greens, no fast food, deserts, candy or other bad food. It's exciting but I'm also scared especially with all of this talk about "starvation mode".

I've lost the amount of pizza an average American eats in a year! I can't wait to lose a full Irish settler.
