Female, 5'9, 248 lbs and about 1,400 cals a day. I'm clearly on an aggressive deficit though. Best of luck!

I hate regular mustard but honey mustard is relatively low cal but with a way better taste. Also, sriracha. Sriracha allll day long.

I was at $5 all you can eat taco night at a local Mexican restaurant. After consuming far too many tacos, I stood up from the booth and my leggings ripped from the crotch down to my thigh. Yeah....haven't been back there since. Who would have thought that $5 tacos would have led to 50 pounds lost!

Hi all! I'm a 22 year old college super senior. I've lost a little over 40 pounds and have at least 50 more to go. I'm on a 60+ day logging streak and love to have friends who are active/log regularly here on MFP. Seeing everyone else reaching their goals is always a huge motivator for me. If anyone would like a new…

Hi! I love seeing updates from friends in my newfeed and I log in everyday! I've lost a little over 40 pounds and would like to lose 50 more. Sometimes I feel like I have such a long way to go but I find it helps to be surrounded by people putting in effort and succeeding. Everyone who logs regularly should feel free to…

Hey there, I'm a 22 year old senior in college! I've lost a little over 40 pounds and hope to lose at least 50 more, so I'll be here for a while. I log everyday and would love to have some more friends. It always encourages me to see other people logging and exercising in my newsfeed. Anyone looking for new friends, please…

When I finally stepped on the scale and saw that I needed to lose about 120lbs, I was shocked and scared and in despair. I decided that 120 was just TOO big of a number to deal with so I cut my goal into thirds. I could lose 40 lbs X 3. I set my ticker to lose 40 pounds and it was much easier to deal with…

I'm a super senior so I'll be graduating soon as well! I've also been very overweight my entire adult life but I've been seeing a lot of success with MFP. There is a lot to learn but the most important thing is to choose a game plan that is sustainable for you! If you're diligent, you'll see amazing results before…

1 hour water aerobics class 15 minutes elliptical 15 minutes stationary bike 15 minutes walking on treadmill Feeling good!

If you're having serious negative thoughts toward biking then I'd suggest you just cut it out. I hate, hate, hate running. So, I don't do it! I'd never get past the first week and just get discouraged. Why not walk every day or do some other form of activity? To answer your question, I've been exercising regularly for 40…

Loving how positive this thread is! My schedule is never set and includes start times ranging from 6a-5p with awake overnights thrown in. I keep a gym bag with essentials in my car so I can hit the gym between shifts, before shifts, or after shifts. I try to workout before I even go home. If I don't, I usually end up in bed :'(. I try to think of the gym as…

Two things have really helped me cut back on the late night snack attack/overeating. 1. I don't eat breakfast and only occasionally eat lunch. I suppose what I do is a type of intermittent fasting and, to be honest, it has been a lifesaver for me. I love eating a big serving of food and I can do that without guilt if I…

Some rewards I've given myself include a new hairstyle, mani/pedi, and new gym shoes. I think I'll get a massage when I get to 40lbs lost. Doesn't that sound lovely?

Yum! Bump!!

I love seeing friends log on daily and getting their burns on. I have lost 30 lbs so far with 60 to go so, I'll be here for quite a long time! Feel free to add me :)

Last night my cheat was 500 calories worth of rum and diet coke. Under my calorie goal for the day but still recovering, haha.

70 pounds/5 stone is about how much I have left to lose. Sometimes it seems overwhelming but it certainly helps to have a few friends on MFP. Everyone should feel free to send me a friend request!

I just wanted to chime in and say that the YMCA, at least where I live, has a policy that prevents them from turning anyone away due to financial reasons. I don't know the specifics but I do know that a friend of mine has a membership for $4/month because of her limited income. If you qualify for an affordable rate then…

Can you believe that each boneless wing at Buffalo Wild Wings is about 100 calories. So, the smallest serving is about 800 calories. WHATT?!?! It is 1/2 off night for college students at my local BWW and I'll definitely pass on the wings tonight.

Hi! I'd be very excited about joining a group for June. With college out for the summer, I should have plenty of time to hit the gym and cook healthy meals. Let me know if I make the cut, haha. :)

Yum! Thanks for posting.

Hey there! We have a lot of things in common. I'm also 22 and a college student. Since I have a starting weight and height just a bit higher than yours, it would be great to have a friend who has seen so much success. Everyone else can friend me too!
-
I've been on MFP for quite a bit but never used it. Now I'm buckling down and would love a few more friends. Add me!

I'm down. Starting tomorrow!

If you remove nearly all carbs from your diet (keep them below 20 grams per day) I can almost guarantee you'll lose more than those couple of pounds. You might not even have to work out to do so... Good luck!

I started on May 14th and have gone from a size 20 to 18. Today is my first day wearing an 18 and I have a big job interview this afternoon. I feel like I'll have a little swagger in my step today
