Believe me, I know the pain haha. Its amazing to have pants that when you hold them up, they don't funnel down from the waist to the ankle. Its almost straight down now.

Oh my god, when I put a 40 on and realized I could go down to a 38 instead, I was like a pig in poo. You can do it! Just keep working hard.
-
Amazing progress. Keep it up! I'm 15-20lbs away from my 100lbs lost. Using your picture as more motivation.

I have nothing but respect for this woman. Shes got more heart than most people can claim and she has my support. She has the ability to lose weight, that jerk who wrote the letter will always be an *kitten*. (Excuse my language please)

I'm running the TM this month in Englishtown NJ with my brother. He just returned to the states from deployment last night and we're more than amped to kick the courses @$$.
-
You have to! Its so fun and the rest of the people who do it are always a blast to meet and get to know. Its a very supportive atmosphere and who doesn't want to get down and dirty?
-
Haha yeah, hes a character. If it wasn't for him, i wouldn't have gotten such a good time either. Great motivator. Can you tell we're from NJ? We curse a bit much.

It was a GoPro Camera with a head strap. They're amazing little cameras.

Its in/by the Bronx. Plenty of people walk. I don't treat it like a race, I just do it to support the troops.
-
You can do it! I haven't run a normal 5K yet. I'm addicted to Mud Runs right now. Love the obstacles.

Orchard Beach. It was an amazing day to run. Weather was perfect, the park was gorgeous.

Here you go!

*Blushing* Thank you for the kind words. I'm 28.
-
Aww thanks! Thats so sweet of you!
-
You can do it! If you need some support, have any questions, or just want to add me for ****s and giggles, please feel free. I'm all about helping everyone reach their goals.

I'll gladly thank him and thank your cousin for me. I have nothing but the utmost respect for our troops. I might not like the causes all the time, but their dedication to protecting us is unmatched. I would have joined myself, but I would miss my daughter growing up.

The mohawk is a "tribute" for my brother who was deployed. Hes coming home next weekend. I'm keeping it for the Tough Mudder we're running next month and then I can go back to completely shaving it bald again. Thanks for the kind words everyone. So great to be part of such an encouraging community.

Amazing transformation. You're gorgeous. Keep it up!
-
I'm down another 1.2lbs. 19lbs away from my 100lb goal!
-
I keep hearing mixed reviews. I have a couple guys in the competition preparing to shave their whole bodies and such haha. A bit competitive at my job.
-
Thanks! being an author must be amazing. I used to write a lot, but haven't gotten back into it as of late. Mostly poetry and such.

I work from 9am to 9pm and its tough to work a diet in my schedule because I don't get to work out until late night. The only thing I can say is, when you have the will there is a way. Just have to find what works and do the best you can. Wake up early if I have to or stay up late.
-
Unfortunately, because I was asked to stay late at work I wasn't able to go running like I planned last night. I did get 1 mile in on a treadmill though. Tomorrow is weigh in for the competition so I might attempt the run tomorrow morning before I weigh in to sweat out an extra pound or two :-P
-
Yeah I know about the extra little bit over 3 miles. Time isn't my concern at the moment, its mainly pushing through to the end with no walking that I'm concentrating on. I actually mapped out the run I'm going to try and its 3.16 Miles.

Yeah, I ran a 5K Mud Run last year when i was around 275lbs, or should i say walked with some jogging. Then this year I ran the same race Jogging with some walking and beat last years time by 7 minutes. Now I have another Mud Run in a week and a half where I plan on getting under 40 minutes total. Its a tough 5K with a…

Congrats on your accomplishment! I ran my first 5k last year at about 275lbs and I felt amazing when i finished. This year after losing a bit more weight I ran again and bettered my time a bit. I was so inspired by how much I beat my last years time that i immediately signed up for another in 2 weeks. Its a great feeling…

Do you have a Nook or something similar? Set that up on your elliptical or something and stream Netflix on it. Helps a lot to distract yourself.
-
I won't lie, I got a little teary eyed myself. I don't know you, but I'm more than proud to say I'm part of the same community and cause as you.

I haven't so much had an ex's really come on to me or anything, but I have had people who used to call me "big man" or suggest I'm some sort of monster because of my size do a double take when I run into them now. I've seen a lot more heads turn as of late though. i have my 10 year reunion coming up, so we'll see how that…
