You look so much younger!!!

Does it matter the brands you use? I put it in my hair while it was dry. Left it on at least on hour. Rinsed, then shampooed & conditioned as normal. My hair never felt yuckier???

Thanks! I use it as an oil treatment. Heat up a few tablespoons and put all through my hair, including the scalp. I leave on an hour...two..overnight...however much time I have to not have to go out and look presentable. Then I take a shower and use a mild shampoo. No conditiioner and it leaves my hair super silky. If I do…

This may be a silly question, but what is the proper way to use these oils on your hair? I have very dry, brittle type hair naturally and I tried the coconut oil. I was told to heat it a bit and rub into hair not getting on the scalp (which is pretty dang near impossible to do). It left my hair so extremely oily & I hated…

I agree with the others. Without seeing your diary it is hard to determine what is causing the gain. Most people do tend to overlook there sodium intake. Could be water retention (which is usually the cause if I have a gain like that). Also could be from muscle gain.

OVERPOWERING PERFUME! LEAVING THEIR WEIGHTS ON NOT WIPING THEIR ICKY SWEAT OFF AFTER USING EACH MACHINE AND THIS ONE GUY WHO THE WHOLE TIME IS THERE HAS HIS TONGUE HANGING OUT OF HIS MOUTH! SERIOUSLY?!

Totally this!!!!

Sounds to me like the trainer may be experiencing some jealousy??

If you have done everything you said don't worry or stress! Give it another week or two & I promise you'll see the change on the scale! Some people take longer than others for those changes to show! Make sure you are drinking lots of water as well!

I agree with everyone else! Get rid of that profile pic first! I don't know if you like to read or not. But I like curling up under my covers w/a good book until I'm ready to fall asleep. Occupy your mind with something else! For me sitting in front of the TV late a night isn't going to do it. That's when I want to eat the…

Our bodies really really want to be healthy! We go through life treating it so bad or filling it with bad foods. As soon as we start treating it right it really reacts to it! Congrats!!! It gets better & better:) Keep it up!!!

Absolutely amazing!!! You give me my hope back:) I used to be 342 lost down to 189 and over 2 years gained back up to 340. I started MFP in March & I'm down 20 pounds so far! I absolutely love it here!!! I hope you have overcome the "funk" after posting this before/after!!! I know I would be:) :flowerforyou:

I have been the same way for years. It is a really hard habit to break. I'd have 2 or 3 perfectly good weeks then crash! I think some of it is because during those weeks, it's all or nothing kinda thing. I've been binge free for a little while now although I have to fight it regularly. I'm re-training my mind to eat…

This is all very well said! I am a former binger! Sometimes I find myself still struggling not to binge! I believe I am healing from that. What used to be an everyday thing for me no longer is! It's been awhile actually & I'm proud of that. What you said about you & your relationship with food is so true! I got to where I…

Hopefully I can get myself a HRM as well. I've noticed from posts on my profile that MFP is probably more accurate. MFP usually shows I've burned a considerate amount more than the machine I use. I'm guessing that it may vary considering the gym & machines. I will stick with what MFP says for now anyway. I try not to eat…

I try not to eat my calories earned from exercise if I can help it. I may dip into a few but that's it. I do want to invest in a HRM soon. Thanks for the input!

I know what you mean about 2nd shift. I did that before coming to mids. I'm not a fan of working midnight shift but it is better than evening as far as having time to do stuff. I NEVER had time for anything on that shift and I never saw my family. I'd like mids better if I had weekends off cuz I miss everything there.

My Friday's are also Sunday night (monday morning). I dispatch from 11pm-7am. My days off are Monday & Tuesday. So when I work Sunday night and get off Monday morning that is the start of my weekend. I go back Wednesday night. The hardest tracking days are Monday's because I eat Sunday night & then Monday as well since I…

That was one of the 1st things I did was go and add sodium to my tracking chart! I did WW for awhile & noticed times when I thought I should be losing and wasn't was because I was getting way too much sodium. I was eating alot of lean cuisines & smart ones meals. Not that I'm downing them. But they are packed with sodium…

I work midnight shift. So it's really weird for me! It's been a constant struggle to find what works for me! Hopefully I'm getting there. I'm starting to feel like I'm making progress!

Thanks Julie! I didn't realize it sounded off the way I worded it :) And I've really upped my water intake. Already had 3 (23.7oz) bottles at work tonight (last night for you lol).
