DISD (i'm assuming you mean Dallas) is primarily inner-city. I'm sure football brings in the same amount of money -- percentage speaking -- when compared to other things that bring the district money. They have great programs until the first rounds of grades are issued and half the team is benched due to ineligibility.

It's Texas -- ALL football programs bring in the most in any district. The plus's for this stadium is the money it will make hosting events outside of regular football (band competitions, playoff games, etc). It's very central for a lot of schools. But if they charge more for the facility, it won't be used much.

It's definately better than just being FORCED to do it but, most people don't really understand what 119 million dollars really is (and Texas is going through severe education cuts). It's monopoly money at that point. And like I said, it's packaged like you're totally against the kids and their future if you don't vote it…

My husband drinks quite a bit of beer (the carbs aren't *that* bad - like less than 25 for a 6 pack but 660 calories!) and I swear, he can walk to the mailbox and lose 5 lbs. He's on month 2 of Insanity, eats 5,000 calories a day, and is STILL LOSING FAT. See why I'm a man-hater today? :tongue:

Don't get me started. That was part of a 119 MILLION dollar bond -- which means it had to be voted on by the taxpayers....and they said YES! Crazy. "It shows that the people of Allen support their kids," head coach ^^^^REALLY? This is how they pass bonds. If you don't vote in favor, you hate kids.

4 sets of 15?! Whoa! (I never read ahead b/c then I stress :)). I started Stage 5 today. I was pretty pumped about my strength gains since Stage 3. Plus, I eeked out 4 reps of 30lb dumbbells (60 total) of the incline press and it was the first time where I truly felt I could not do ONE.MORE.REP. It's good to be reminded…

So, I had some blood work done last week because the last time I got my hair highlighted, a TON of it fell out. I was TOTALLY freaking out. I never lose hair. It's never in the drain or even in my brush. My husband thought it could be from overprocessing (which it totally could have been) but it has never happened before…

It's hard to pull the weight off the bar for good form so I know how big of a deal it is. It's crazy how big of a difference going a couple inches lower makes!

I still get sore from the cutesie moves AND I like getting in and out of the gym so they're actually my favorite. It takes a lot of time to load 100+ lbs on a bar and then unload it. I actually like the Pure Protein frosty chocolate shake the best and I have tried a LOT of different ones. I liked the taste of Isopure but it killed my stomach. I have learned that if there is a small container, try it first because I'm not stuck with a huge container that's nasty or hurts my stomach.

Honestly, I was only able to do them when I started b/c of a pushup app I did for like 6 weeks before starting. I actually worked up to doing about 75/day (not in a row) from being able to do 1. I don't think that program and NR's can be done at the same time though.

Hmmm......yeah. I was thinking there would be some serious cardio outlined in there somewhere. I guess I don't get how THIS program is designed to burn fat where NROL4W isn't since essentually it's the same (as far as burn goes).

Yes, right after lifting is best -- not that I did it after lifting the entire length of Stage 4 but the next day is a million times better than nothing! Manic - it's great being a female sometimes, huh? I'm in the middle of my rest week and it's been great!!!!!!!!!!

I never felt it until I lifted perpendicular -- but I think we're getting to the same place either way. And just an update once I was done with this stage, my last workout I could only physically do 2 sets (I did 3 on the deadlifts only that last workout) so I FINALLY understood what he meant!

Inches lost means fat lost/getting smaller/wearing smaller clothes/etc. Sounds like you're on the right path unless your goal is just to hit a number on the scale (over looking skinny).

I finished stage 4 yesterday (yay) but wanted to jump on here about the reverse lunge from box with forward reach. The picture shows her reaching basically to her ankles but that just confused me since it was pretty much worthless. No, most of them are way longer -- especially with the HIIT. At least 1 hr 15 minutes. AMG629, I don't think it matters if it's whey. How many g's/shake of protein is there in yours?
