Yes, fair enough about the one night thing. I should have probably asked while I was there but it didn't occur to me, I was too busy being astonished by how lovely the food was! :-) Thanks for replies, though.

Whilst I agree that low-carb isn't necessary for weight loss (caloric deficit is), I'm a HUGE snacker and have recently cut out gluten and dairy - for general health reasons, not necessarily due to allergies.
