  • NuvaRing is great! You don't have to worry about bleeding from it since it just slips inside you. I've been using for a few years and love it. If you find it uncomfortable during sex you can take it out, but I haven't had that problem. I would suggest giving it a try, some people I know have had issues with it staying in.…

  • The one low cal cookie I've come across is meringue cookies. Not exactly like a traditional cookie, but they are good. Made with egg white, sugar, cream of tartar and whatever flavoring you want (vanilla, lemon, mint etc). I made a batch of these this weekend and the cookies worked out to be about 4-5 cal a piece!

  • I've been looking into healthier options and have come across meringue cookies! Haven't tried them yet but they are low calories and have no fat. Most are made with egg whites, cream of tartar, bit of sugar and some flavoring.
  • I weigh myself everyday...sometimes several times a day.I'm obsessed with it, but I use it more for following the trends in my weight loss. Try not to let the numbers in between actual weigh in days get to you too much. I've had weeks were my weight will go up and by the time weigh in day comes it has dropped again. If…
  • You can change time zones under settings.Good Luck!
  • I've often heard the suggestion of drink some calories. Chocolate milk etc could be a good way to get a few more calories in without having to eat.
  • Try some tea? Lots of different flavors to try. I've just had warm water with lemon in it. Maye a hot chocolate as a treat. Hope you feel better soon! For some food try mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes, soft and good!
  • I agree with just watching what you eat, so long as you stay under your calorie goal you should be fine. If you are finding this hard and still have it set to loosing a set amount of weight, consider lowering the amount of lbs/week to loose or switch over to maintenance mode to ease the calorie counting a bit. Good luck…
  • I always try to stay a little under my calorie goal to make up for any possible over/under calculations with my food. And to make up for me tasting food while cooking etc. Some days I'm not under by much and some days its a bit more, it really depends on how hungry you are and what types of food you are eating.
  • I weigh myself everyday...I'm kinda obsessed with it. haha but I only log it once a week on my weight in day. I keep in mind that your weight changes daily but I like keeping track of the trends in my weight loss.
  • If you can get a walk or something in as exercise go for it. If not what I did at thanksgiving (went to a big dinner) was to load up on salad and any other veggies available. Then just took small portions of everything else. Then I just didn't worry about it. It's one day and if you go over its not going to hurt anything.…

  • They are good! Mind you I like most of the rice cakes....eat them alot...I like the cinnamon streusel crispy minis!
  • If you plug all the information into the recipe calculator you can make it as many or as few servings as you like. That's what I normally do, just slice up the meatloaf and figure out how much you will eat per meal and how many of those servings you will get out of the meatloaf. Good luck!
  • Wow 20 lbs makes a big difference! You look great, keep it up!
  • There are weeks that I don't feel like exercising so I don't but I make sure to keep my calories in check and I've still lost weight. The working out is just an added bonus that allows you to eat a bit more and burn more calories to possibly loose faster. Relax and don't worry, keep track of your calories and see what…
  • Just food for thought, if you don't trust your scale for accuracy you can still weight yourself for an 'actual' measurement when you happen to go the gym, but if you have a scale at home even if it isn't 100% accurate on your real weight it will still show how many lbs lost. If possible weight yourself at the gym them at…

  • I know exactly how you feel, this previous week I finally made it to overweight instead of obese and it was awesome!! It's a great accomplishment. Good luck on the 1.9 lbs!!
  • I like making home made soups. If you use low sodium broths and load the soup up with veggies and a bit of noodles and meat it really fills you up! I usually use chicken or turkey with some broken up spaghetti noodles, onions, garlic, peas, corn, carrots etc. Or you can use cubed potatoes instead of noodles. Also making stir…
  • I have a pair of the rebook easy tone shoes and I love them. I wear them at work (in a hospital) and they are very comfortable. I've had them for a while now and haven't noticed anything adverse. I haven't noticed my legs or butt being any better (but I still have a bit of weight to loose so maybe it just doesn't show) but…
  • I've read that once you exercise you rev up your metabolism, so if you exercise in the morning, it gets your metabolism up for the day. So I guess the same thing goes if you exercise in the evening, but I'm not sure if sleeping later (depending on when you work out) will slow the metabolism back down. I work evenings…
