  • Hi! I'm near the end of my first trimester too! I have gained almost 8-10lbs too, I had to eat in order to not be sick, anytime the nausea kicked in I had to snack. I was also on vacation so that didnt help. But since I have been home I have been eating better and getting a little exercise (not as much as I would wish to,…
  • Oh ya, I am in the exact same boat! It is so frustrating!! I knew the last 5 would be heard, but not this hard...at least I know I can maintain a weight, haha. We can do it! We can loose those last 5 lbs!!

  • I had to up my calories as well! If you have yourself set to 2lbs/week loss, change it to only 1.5lbs/week. I had to do this to get through both my plateaus.
  • Amazing job! You look fantastic, keep it up!
  • I believe you can add your own exercise and put in how many calories are burned, you can create one for you for breastfeeding!
  • Congrats! Keep it up!!
  • I love my popcorn! It's my go to snack as well when I need something. Not sure if it would be affecting your weight loss. It shouldn't if you work it into your daily goals and drink plenty of water! Good luck!
  • I was in the same situation. Had my calories at 1200 then after a while I stopped loosing weight. I changed my goal and upped my calories and returned to losing weight. I think it has to do with our bodies becoming better fat burning machine and therefore need more to keep it going.Plus building muscle makes you burn more…
  • If you can stay away from cream based sauces on the pasta, that will save you a lot of calories. Also look for dishes that may have more veggies in them. Other than that enjoy your date and try not to worry too much about the calories...you can always do a good workout tomorrow (or today if you have time) to off set it. We…

  • Awesome job! You look great!
  • I LOVE the food network too!! I'm the same way, I don't really get the desire to eat it,or if I do I try to think of ways to make it healthy. Some of my favorite shows are Good Eats, Outrageous foods, Iron Chef, Diners,Drive-In and Dives,Ace of Cakes, Chef at Home....well lets just say I like most of them! There are a few…
  • I lose weight during my TOM as well! I don't think I have ever gained during it since joining here.
  • I've noticed this as well....luckily for me I don't have too many shoes but when I slipped on a pair from last summer they are flopping around...who would have thought feet would shrink!
  • Wow! Congrats on your success you look awesome!
  • Make it into a turkey taco salad! Cook the turkey with taco seasoning and load it up with lots of lettuce, tomatoes, bit of salsa and sour cream, and a little cheese! Yum! I did this with some left over turkey I had recently!
  • The 100 is the 100% rda not mg....if you look at food labels the amount of iron is in a %. Hope that helps!
  • You look amazing! Great job!
  • Awesome!!!! Just goes to show what an amazing thing you are doing for your body! Keep it up!
  • I've kinda heard of this too, that when you shed the weight its takes pressure off joints etc and you can be taller. I just noticed the same thing. I measured myself and was an inch taller then I thought I was.
  • I've done it on my own with the support of all my great friends here on MFP and my husband. To date I've lost a total of about 60 lbs (50 since joining here) just by making those same changes you have. I've started working out and watching what I eat and how much! One little tip is don't give up the treats in life! If you…
  • One thing to remember is that all scales will read differently. If you've been to you doctor recently use a scale that reads closest to what you weighed in on that scale. Also once you pick a scale stick with it, the pounds lost will be the same regardless of the scale.Hope you find something that works.
  • I eat a lot of the same foods too. I don't think it will affect anything and you only need to switch it up if you want the variety. The one important thing is varying the amount of calorie intake...but you can eat the same food just in different amounts! Good luck!
  • I wouldn't feel bad about it, we see the little changes but it takes a lot longer before others notice, especially if they see you every day. I didn't start getting compliments on my weight loss until I had lost 30+ lbs.
  • Drink your calories. Juice, milk etc all have calories and can be good for you! Or choose healthy high calorie snacks like nuts. Good luck!
  • Hope your leg gets better and you can start moving around soon! I wouldn't change your weight and input a wrong one. Just because you have the calories allowed to you for the day does not mean you need to eat them all. If you are hungry by all means eat all your allowed calories, but if not stay under and that will help…
  • By following MFP! haha I know its a funny answer but its true. I log my food everyday and get in exercise. I don't do much in the way of exercise, I just have a exercise bike and I plop myself down in front of the tv and peddle away. I also sometimes jog in place, or do some exercise videos.(but mainly my bike) I'm not a…
  • Great job! Can see a difference already!
  • Thanks everybody! It feels awesome to be a source of motivation for others! I know you will all succeed as well! :drinker:
  • Thanks everybody! It has been a hard journey but it has gotten easier as time has gone by and I get into the habit of eating right and exercising! Good luck to all of you!! Merflan - I have a big frame- I'm big boned haha and I think thats why I look like I weigh less. Alot of people couldn't believe I was at 222lbs (not…
