Most things are the weight before cooking, like pasta and meat/chicken. I also weigh most of mine in grams as well.

Love this new board! I have been in maintenance since March and has gone pretty good! I still log my food and watch what I eat about 90% of the time. I try to stay between 3-4 pounds +/- of my goal weight.

After I tell everyone how long it took me to get to my goal weight, they totally lose interest;) So many people think they can do it within a couple of months and then go back to eating/living the way they used too!

Been maintaining for about 4 months now and been doing good. I am also doing about the same thing you are, staying within calories for most days during the week and having a couple of days of eating what I want;)

It is for sure much slower and also harder to keep off! I have learned that patience is the main thing at this age to reach your goal;)

You can totally do it!! I was the exact same way and couldn't run if my life depended on it, thought for sure I would never make it. It is so much a mental (as well as physical) challenge. The main thing is to SLOW down, it is not a race! Just think how great you will feel when it is done! I would never have made it this…

Lived most of my life up North (Northern Illinois) until about 6 years ago and then we moved down South to Georgia, but will always be "Pop" to me;) Still get funny looks every time I order one or say it to someone down here.

Like others have said, it really depends on your stats and the intensity you do Zumba at. I use a HRM and do pretty high intensity and normally average about 500 calories for the hour.

The ONLY creamer I found that taste the same and low in calories is Land o Lakes FF Creamer. Love it, and add a couple Splendas;)

I also never understood why others count it as exercise, just like some that count cooking as exercise??

Younger as most of the time they think my older two children (ages 24 & 21) are my siblings. My son don't care but makes my daughter kind of angry.

Check out the Fitbit board on here, as you will find tons if info there;) I am personally waiting for the new Fitbit Flex to come out (should be around May 1st) since it is waterproof and spend a lot of time swimming in the summer;)

For sure try Aldi's or if ou have a Boutiful Baskets Co-op in your area for produce! Both are very reasonable in prices. Publix is soo high!! I also shop at Sams for a lot of things as well, including meats, fish, chicken, yogurt, ect..

I am still pretty new to maintenance, so feel like logging works the best for me. Though I have been more relaxed on weekends;)
