One thing that helped me was logging days regardless if I went way over my calories or not. It was a like a free pass when I wasn't logging bad days. It wasn't there for me to see that it happened, so I never had an consequences with my actions. It may help to start logging regardless of how many calroies you eat in a day.

The more plain water you drink the better it tastes. I went from drinking no water and seriously like 6-7 diet cokes a day to drinking water and coffee. I can't drink coffee without water anymore. I just started doing weights in Feb, and I am having so much fun! I see/feel results much faster, and it doesn't feel like I am struggling like I was when just dieting or doing only cardio. I say keep it up! :bigsmile:

I use Paul Newman's Light Balsamic Vinaigrette. It really goes well on any salad. I also use hot sauce/salsa on most all salads when I want a change.

You can add me. I'm 5'2" and have been fighting my weight my whole life. Getting in the gym and lifting weights has really shown some good/fast results for me.

No I have not done that. I work out with a personal trainer two times a week and then 3-4 days on my own. I'm semi-following a program off of bodybuilding.com as well.

I started lifting 4-6 times a week about 2 months ago, and it has made the biggest difference. It is also much more fun than spending hours on the treadmill/elliptical :)

I agree cold water helps. I make it a goal to drink a whole bottle before I leave for work. I tried the crystal light, but I found pure water was more satisfying. I don't sip water though.
