ROCK ON, CYSTER!!

I like the pros and cons idea. The good about being healthy. The bad about being fat and unfit. You will see where you want to be by that alone. Every few months I remake that list and there is always something new that I add. Also, I am a firm believer in planning. Plan out meals and exercise times and types for each day,…

You take care too. Game ON for me! I am at 79 lbs and only have about 11 weeks til 1 year anniversary of starting mfp!

That is a fantastic story. Proud of you!! Now you are hooked! :) Keep running! Maybe we will see each other in a 5k one day!!!!

Still at 216. That is just under 4 pounds lost in September. But the running is still changing my body. So, I will take it! LOL!

Great for you! I like to write things down too!!! Makes it plainer and more likely to follow through because there is proof that I said I was going to do it! LOL! I totally get your feelings though! If I run in the morning, I have to get up at 4:15 as well since my shift starts at 6:30!!! The first week or two, try out…

saving this thread. love me some fall pumpkin goodies!

GREAT JOB!!! I did the same thing. I completed it in about 10 weeks(had injury) and trained by their timing, not their distance. I walked at 2.8-3.0 and ran at 3.6-4.1. I was over 250# when I started and am only 5'5" so speed was never going to be my strong point. I continue with training, I have transitioned to outdoors…

I do this too! My work days are 11.5 hours plus nearly 1 hr commute one way. I try to utilize my breaks and lunch at work to walk the block or parking lot each day I am there. Some days I can get over 3 miles in!!

I am Shari. I dislike exercise but completed C25k training and am loving it! Running my 2nd 5k this coming Saturday. Aiming high for 8 # loss this month! I totally stalled last month and want to do better. Good luck to us all! HW =305# last year SW 295# on MFP in Feb CW =219.6# GW =211# for end of Sept

Count me in. I stalled for the whole month of August. In weight loss and committment. My Sept 1 weight is 219.6 pounds.

I say go with the C25k. It took me 10 weeks to finish the program and I went from not being able to run a full minute to being able to run 30 minutes non stop. My distance has yet to reach 3.1miles non-stop. I am SLOW! Working on that. My first 5k run last month was 50 minutes. Beats sitting on the couch! Good luck to you!

I just finished C25k this summer! I had my first 5 k a few weeks ago and my 2nd one is on the 8th! Also, I have signed up for 1 in Oct and 1 in Nov and looking for one in Dec. I have asthma so I am just a bit leary of running in the cold. I think Nov will be fine but Dec worries me. LOL! Oh well, I will wear a scarf to…

Can't wait! Going to succeed this time!!

You look great in your picture. You seem healthy and happy. I think your body likes its current state. I say stay with it. Don't kill yourself for a number on the scale. Make happy and active your new goal and mark it as MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Well done, lady!

Yes, yes, yes! I am definitely hungrier the next day!
-
Nothing I have given up completely. But I went from eating pizza 3 times a week to only 5 times in the last 6 months. And sugar. I would have something sugary every day sometimes several times a day, now I eat it just occasionally.
-
I think she is right too!
-
Dump the sugar -empty calories at best, lethal to fat shedding at worst. Reduse the white carbs (breads, rice, pasta, cereal) -see above, all carbs break down into sugars to be stored as fat when not used for energy. You do not have to eliminate but do reduce them. Cut your sodium -fluid retention and uncool for the…

My head is spinning! 4 miles a day! Hahaah! Well, more because I know there will be a few days I won't be able to run. This is going to be CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it!
