  • Donna, sounds like you have made some major adjustments in your lifestyle already. I know that trying to lose weight when you are a diabetic is really difficult. My husband had diabetes and was constantly trying to control his weight. Keep up the good work!!

  • Wow, congrats on the 12 pounds. I would imagine that coming home is like having your birthday, Christmas, and Easter all at the same time. Everyone who loves you tries to tell you so with food!! I think if you stick with this site and keep track you will make it through just fine and also manage to lose the other pounds.

  • Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I made it through yesterday within my calorie limits!! One day at a time! Now to get in some exercise. I think I'll take my grandson for a long walk this afternoon.
  • What they are saying about size being different depending on brand is true. I sold retail for several years and know that some brands run really small and some run really big. This was really brought home when my skinny teenage daughter (never bigger than a size 6 and 5'10") had to try on a pair of size 14 designer jeans.…
  • I have been trying to lose weight for some time, but having been tracking my food intake. I am really looking forward to using this tool to keep me in line. Also hope to increase my exercise level, but one new habit at a time!
