for me i started at a size 24 and they were tight it took me a good 30 pounds before i got into a size 22, it was quite discouraging. Now im in a size 16 and they are getting pretty lose, it seems it takes about 12-15 pounds to get to the next size smaller. But it really depends on how ur built.

I would say get a really good pair of spanx or control top panty hose.

i know u said u dont like dresses but have u ever tried on a maxi dress? They are long so it will cover ur legs and u can wear a cute cardigan over it to cover your arms. U have to find the right one that offers u a shape but they can be really beautiful.

personally i weigh after i cook my food. I dont know if it really matters i would think consistency would be the biggest thing to worry about.

i eat closer to 1400 cal a day and lose weight at a stead pace. I've always been a yo yo dieter to. Started this new healthy thing June 2011 and am still going strong, lost 73 pounds hoping i never go back to the way i was.

i use to have one pop a week as a special treat. But about a month ago they started making my stomach hurt really bad so pop doesnt sound good to me at all anymore. I dont know if artificial sweeteners are bad for u or not, but since they are so debated i figure it cant hurt to just try to stay away from them.

20 pounds in 4 months is something to be very proud of. Thats 5 pounds a month and a little over a pound a week. you are losing weight in a healthy way. Keep on going, ur doing great!! :)

i eat carbs! Ive lost 73 pounds. Actually i tried doing the low carb thing for about a month and i hated it. I was tired and i was grumpy. I just focus on portion size and getting a variety of different foods and i feel great. I love carbs and i know i couldnt cut carbs out for good so low carb isnt for me.
