Could be that you are gaining muscle? Measure yourself, (MFP, in it's progress setting helps you keep track) you could be changing your body composition, gaining muscle and loosing fat (muscle weighs more than fat). You could be looking slimmer and more toned even when weighing a little more.

Tilapia is a mild tasting fish, strong spices like Od Bay will overpower it's taste. Try it steamed with a side of salsa and some corn maybe.
