Oh yes! I am with you there. I have been doing this for a bit longer than you, and did it the same way. Just became aware of macros etc recently. Don't get discouraged by all the info. You may have stalled if you are not being consistent in your logging. Once you are doing that, maybe you can start to try and hit your…

Start adding in to your diary everything you have ate today. Then you will have started. Since you are new I will tell you what I did when I started. I actually ate normal for a few days, logged everything and got an idea of how much I was eating before I started cutting calories. That way I had some practice with logging…

Roasted red pepper hummus. I could eat it all day...

I ate a lot of chocolate and jelly beans. You are not alone. Trying to get over it today, and still ended up with over 300 calories of candy in my diary. We'll, tomorrow will be easier, mainly because I have eaten most of it...

I am having one of those days today. And I'm logging every sad bite. Let's just day the Easter candy won today. But if I don't log it, it messes me up more in the long run, brcause I pay attention to my weekly numbers too. Logging it actually help me get back on track.

Oh yeah, love those thin mints! If it helps, look at your weekly calorie goal instead of your daily, and if you can eat a little lower than usual for the next week, you can still lose. Sometimes I do that if I go over on a day or two.

My husband has some dairy allergies and he has felt a lot better since he stopped eating it. It's not too big of a deal, we just leave the cheese or milk out of his food, but sometimes he will do something stupid like eat ice cream, because he misses it, and then he really suffers. Dairy allergies are actually pretty…

Do you have a crockpot? The food can be ready when you get home! There are a lot of good crockpot recipes right here on MFP, just use the search function.

I'm kinda a stay at home mom, but I'm a full time college student too. Right now I'm doing the 30 day shred, which is a great workout! I also do a lot of walking, and later today I'm going to take the kids over to a school track around the corner so they can play in the center of the track with their friends, and the moms…

Well done! You look great, keep up the good work!

It sounds like you may have an eating disorder. Food shouldn't have to be something you are so fearful of. It sounds to me like you are not eating enough to nourish your body and fuel yourself for exercise. You may want to go see a doctor about your food fears. If you can, pleAse do add chicken or fish back into your diet…

Great ideas here. Saving for later!

You are fine! Make sure you log it all and move on. If you went over today, you went over. Sometimes if I have a really high calorie day or two I look at my weekly calorie allotment, instead of my daily, and if I just stay kind of low (not too low) on my calories the rest of the week, I still will still lose that week :)

I can tell you are reeling right now, with pain and anger. Sorry for your loss :(. I don't know how someone gets to be 600 pounds, and you are right that the family had to probably be enabling the behavior, and that sucks, but what I have learned is that we can't change anyone else's behavior, as much as we wish we could.…

Cool! I'm so excited! Thanks for the alert.

I dropped two pants sizes!

We have a chihuahua named Mr Biggs.

Hey there! I too am a stress eater, and I recognized myself in your post. I have been on MFP for two years this month, and my stress eating has caused me to lose weight quite slowly. I have actually began to overcome it, and for me it has taken patience and persistence, mostly. You have to make sure you are honest in your…

Yum. My favorite way is butter, brown sugar and milk.

I'm 31 :) I'm on here every day, feel free to add.

5'10 here. My husband is 5 inches shorter than me. In high school I towered over all my petite shorty friends. It doesn't bother me anymore, but I got bad posture from always slumping over or hunching down, which was stupid, because I was still taller than my friends. It's ok, these days I just tease all the shortys around…

Hell no! I spend a lot of time cooking dinners, if they don't want to eat it they can go to bed hungry. If they were really starving, they would eat it.

Looks good!

I'm for childhood vaccinations. I also got flu shots when I was pregnant. People who don't vaccinate their kids are just lucky that most everybody does and the herd immunity is (so far) protecting their kids. But with the amount of children not getting vaccinated these days, who knows how long that will last.

Does it say how many servings in the box? You can input servings per box and then divide it up, like if you cut it in 20 squares, and then eat one square, you ate .5 servings. I would assume the eggs, oil etc are included in the calories, and the frosting too, if there is not separate nutrition info on that somewhere on…

That would make my blood boil. Here's what I did, I didn't talk to the unsupportive people in my life for a while, and only my husband and best friend knew I was losing weight. Then once I was down 45 pounds I posted a pic of my progress on Facebook. Everybody was all shocked and everything. The toxic people kept quiet.…

Plan ahead and leave room for it in your day. I would definitely not give up my favorite treats! Maybe cut back some, but not cut out.

Make some smaller short term goals that will help you stay feeling accomplished. Don't try and change your entire diet overnight, pick a few things that you want to change and start there, and you will progress as you continue. Be patient, I know it's hard but you have to be. Don't worry about plateaus until you get to…

I do mushrooms, cooked white rice, crumbled bacon, carrots and onion in a chicken broth. Comes out to around 250 cals for 2 cups, and it's really filling.

Zuppa Toscana, yum, it is the best thing that I like to make with ground sausage!
