Hang in there! It's ok to take a "small" break but you know it's time to get back on track. I applaud you! I too have become let's say less intense about my workouts and my food consumption. Time to be accountable for our actions and happy with the choices we make. Let's get back on track!!!

Good for you! Now that you have set a 5k in your mind there is nothing to stop you. I like Hal Higdon's training schedules. Also, as others have mentioned pace yourself and please stretch before and after your workouts. Shoes are very important too! If you have not done so already go to a running store and have them fit…
