I say go for it. Be proud of your heritage and you'll meet a lot of new people that way too. Don't worry about what all the guys say. I see a few guys every year wearing them and not for any reason but they wanted too.

Are you logging all your food and accurately measuring your portions. You'd be surprised how portion control can throw you off! I had to start measuring everything--hubby was a cook--drives him nuts! But I'm measuring my food--not his! LOL
