I am 5' 3" tall SW :194 CW 176 and GW: 135 I haven't been 135 pounds since I was first married. Having kids, stress, laziness, etc caused the weight gain. I am doing something about it now! So tired of being overweight!

Elliptical is the best choice for me! The treadmill scares me (I have fallen off it before)! In addition, like somebody said the elliptcal is better on the knee joints and if I remember you burn more calories on it compared to the treadmill. :)

I absolutely love granola (with yogurt) but I only allow myself a 1/4 cup or 1/2 cup a day. It helps me with my sweet cravings. It is definitely healthier than baked goodies or other sweets in my opinion. :D

Ha ha ha! Cute story! My youngest daughter always liked to pat my round belly until I grew tired of it. It is one of the many reasons why I feel motivated to lose weight too. Welcome to MFP!
