Bahaha... I don't have cats, but my guinea pigs freak the heck out when they hear any kind of plastic bag. So coming home from grocery shopping sends them into hysterics. And they also freak out when they hear the fridge opening. Or when you turn the water on in the kitchen. Or when you walk close to the door of the room…

:noway: WTF? Go get another kid so the one you have has someone to play with? That's worse than the pet suggestion.

THIS. Grown adults have major reactions to big life changes. She's not being "bad," she's expressing a feeling that she might not know how to put into words.

You just moved in with your boyfriend, which is a big change. You put her in her own room, away from you. She's now the only person in the family who has to sleep alone. And when she's upset about that, you shut the door and ignore her. I understand your reasoning in doing that, but think about things from her perspective.…

So if, as you said yourself, you would be willing to cook once a month, there is a thing called "once-a-month cooking." Google a meal plan. One day of cooking in a month. On the rare occasions that you do cook, cook a double batch (or larger, if you're only cooking for one) and freeze the leftovers. Then you can just…

My husband tried to do this to me once when we were dating. I just started crying, and still had hiccups.

Zydeco. Blech.

This. Or more calories in general. 1200 is pretty low. If this is happening to you often, you might consider raising your daily goal a little bit.
-
25 pounds isn't that much. That's why you can't lose faster. You're closer to your goal weight than somebody who has, say, 100 pounds to lose. Keep going. You're making awesome progress.

... I have been playing Rune Factory 4 all.day.long. With no plans of stopping.

Pieces of cake.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if they were deleted at the OP's request, because they always devolve into people being dramatic idiots. I mean, there are a lot of really good threads that I don't participate in because I can see that they'll just deteriorate. It might be homophobia, but it really might just be that the…

Fun! And nerdy. But still fun. :)

This is absolutely mesmerizing.

Well, I will admit that I haven't had Domino's since they changed their game a few years back. We don't have one where we live now. All I know is I always HATED Domino's when I was in high school and college.

Been there. So I loosened up the reins a little. And then I let go of them completely. And here I am trying to lose the 10 lbs I gained back. :grumble: All I'm saying is, be careful here. This is treacherous water. My recommendation would be to change up your routine. Try working out in a way you haven't before -- if…

Dude, you could at least spring for Pizza Hut or something. Domino's is blech. ;)

Think outside the baked goods box. Make some pumpkin soup! :)

Yeah, it almost killed me. Plus, I joined two rows, then made some more squares and then joined half of the rest of the rows, and realized I was joining them together wrong, so I had to frog all the seams and do it again. I almost gutted myself with my yarn needle.

If it's mostly in your lower back and sides, what you might be feeling is the start of a kidney infection. Drink more. Go to the doctor if it doesn't go away or if your pee is cloudy.

That sums it up pretty well.

Somewhere north of me. That's all I know.

Also, with regards to this particular game: I messed up. For my husband's birthday I bought him the special edition gold 3DS with this game. He loved it. But since the game is just installed on his system and not a cartridge, I'll probably never get to play it now. Selfishness fail.

I use walkthroughs occasionally, but only if I'm really stuck. The only reason I do it though is because I am what my husband calls a "dirty gamer" -- I often start a game, get to a difficult part, get pissed off, walk away from it for a day or two, and then get distracted and never pick it up again. Walkthroughs are how I…

This. Keep in mind that there are other factors to consider as well. You're likely to gain water weight before or during your period, and any time you have too much sodium, or drink too little water, or overexercise and get sore muscles. So you might not hit your weight goals by your deadlines, and it may have nothing to…

I think it's silly to rule your diet by the clock. Eat what you eat when you eat it. Whatever. If you're eating a truckload of fruit at 11pm and it's keeping you from going to sleep because you have a sugar high, well, that's a different story, and you should probably stop doing that. But otherwise, it really doesn't…

Bumping this because I bought an eggplant and don't know what to do with it. Thanks for the ideas here!

Netflix. Books. If you're really stuck and not able to go anywhere, and you have an e-reader, see if your local library is partnered with the Overdrive library so you can check out e-books free of charge. Crochet. If you don't know how, buy a hook and some yarn and search YouTube for tutorials.

Some of that does sound like it could be the depression doing its thing. Are you in talk therapy, or taking medication, or a combo? You don't have to answer if you don't want to. I know it's a personal thing. I ask because it may be that if you're taking a medication, it's not the right one, and if you're not taking…
