I do have T25 but it's nearly impossible for me to get up any earlier than 5:30. I love/hate T25. It kicks your butt for sure!!

Thanks for all the encouragement! I plan to go to the gym after work. :)

Right there with you! I've gained 10 pounds back over the past 6 months and can't seem to get rid of it. None of my clothes fit. I'm working tons of hours right now and studying for the CPA exam. My biggest challenge is fatigue and not having time to plan or cook meals that are low calorie. So discouraging.

To take this extra injury, holiday, winter blues 10 pounds back off and be toned for my first trip to the ocean this summer...

Sweet!

Down to 140 now!

The Color Run is a great run to start off with because there are a ton of walkers. It is kind of pricey but my intent was to get the kids excited about fitness so it was worth the money, IMO. This is not the race to worry about breaking any records because it's probably not going to happen. =) I had a friend come and they…

You all are my inspiration! Keep up the good work... We won't have to worry about resolutions because we've been LIVING our resolutions all year!!!!!!

One year ago on Christmas. Tonight.....

Wow, wasn't expecting to read such honest answers when I opened this thread. I'm like many of you; single mom, going to school, working full-time, etc................ The bottom line? Too busy and probably too picky. That said, it is such a good idea to get to know who you are and what makes you tick before dating. Really…

You can do it! I just started running in January of this year and LOVE it. I didn't use it, but a lot of people swear by the C25K app. I love races. I'm too slow to place (although I'm getting faster), but the causes are great and it's worth doing for that reason alone. Feel free to add me for more support and…

Although I have not officially been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, I have all of the symptoms. I have had numerous tests done and all seem to eventually point to FM. I haven't had health insurance for a few years, so I have not pursued an official diagnoses. That said I started out slow. With FM you absolutely cannot overdo…

Thanks peeps! I'm a short girl. I'm only 5'2"... I run 3 or 4 days/week, do one day of intense circuit training/weights, and usually some type of pushups/planks kind of workout a couple times a week too.

New NSV yesterday. Started running in January of this year. Never run before in my life! When I started I could only manage 18/miles running/walking. My first 5K was in May and I finished in 31:43. Yesterday, I ran my second 5K and finished in 25:49. Some accomplishments a scale just cannot track...... BTW, I'm now down to…

Steph... Great hair and beautiful smile. =)

I'm 5'2.5" and weighed 178 at my highest. Currently down to 150. Ultimate goal is 135. I hovered around 128-135 in high school and wore a size 6/8. I looked sick though and I had no muscle definition. Now at 33, I am 150 and wear anywhere from a 6 to a 10 (although 10's are mostly too big). If I lose another 15 pounds, I'm…

New progress pic... had to share! Everyone keep up the good work.. It is worth it!!

Me at my heaviest... 178lbs... Now... 148-150. I've gone from a size 16 to a 8/10. I still have a ways to go, but it feels great where I'm at too...

Wasn't prepared to be noticed all the time... Sounds weird but it's hard to get used to when you are used to being a wallflower. Was feeling my rib cage (yes, it actually exists...who knew???) a couple of months ago. Couldn't figure out what that hard knot was until I realized it was my oblique muscles!!!! Never had those…

There is hope. I've discovered that what is important to you, becomes a priority. I finally allowed my health to become my number one priority. I know there will come a time when I won't be able to work out as much, and hopefully I will disciplined enough by then that I will still make maintaining a priority. It's also…

I am MUCH happier! I post to keep myself motivated as well!

Decided on a whim to take a picture of my arms since I've seen others here do it. I think all the upper body workouts at the gym and all the planks/pushups are working! Yay!!
-
Absolutely! Ironically, that is one of the first things I noticed as well. My balance improved dramatically...
-
I am living proof that if I can do it, anyone can.... You just have to find the motivation deep down inside you and start walking it out in the choices you make each day..

Thanks. I have a medium frame. If I was to get any lower than 135 (which is my goal weight), I would look unhealthy. In fact, I was 128-133 my senior year. When my friends look at my pics from then, they say I looked anorexic... Yet, the BMI charts say I should be 101-136 max. I have gone from a snug size 16 to a 6-8. I've…

Great job! What is amazing to me about my own journey to health is who I am inside. I've been in there all along, but now the outside is starting to reflect that. I no longer have to hide inside of my own body... It's truly liberating! Keep up the good work!
-
Thanks all!!!! Appreciate the encouragement.... Funny how my thighs used to be my least favorite part of my body. Getting healthy is so much more than how I look. I am more comfortable with myself now than I ever have been and it has nothing to do with how I look. I am 5'2". The only thing I'm unhappy with now is my "mommy…
