Diet coke and fried chicken are my nemesis!! This might help to get you off the energy drinks...a friend of mine forgot and left one in her car during the summertime while she was at work and the can exploded. It ate a hole through her hat that was lying on the seat next to it.

I also eat a lot of the Atkins frozen dinners....they are yummy! Good for diabetics too because they are low carb.

Eat a lot of salad with your noon and evening meal, it helps to fill you up and there are hardly any calories worth noting (besides the dressing). Here is what I put in my salad: organic heart of romaine, spring mix lettuce, shredded carrot, and 2 Tbsp of Italian dressing. Sometimes I will add grape tomatoes as well. Also,…

My bad habit is having a late-night snack. Even though I usually stay within calorie limit I know it is not a good thing to eat late at night so my challenge is to not eat anything after supper.

Day 6 No exercise today and I'm only down 6 glasses of water. I did drink a 32oz fountain diet coke though so I guess I got my liquid in at least.

My success was fitting into a pair of jeans yesterday that I have not been able to wear in over a year. They're not loose by any means but I can zip them up like a normal person, as opposed to laying on the bed and sucking everything in like the last time I wore them...lol.

My name is Carol and tomorrow will be my 2 month anniversary since starting MFP. I started out with 150+ lbs to lose to reach my goal weight of 135. This is what I weighed when my husband and I were married almost 24 years ago. I want to be able to fit into my wedding dress that I never got to wear (long story, and no I…

Mrsfry1, Has your doc checked your thyroid or for Cushing's syndrome?

Best advice yet, find a good doctor! And no it is not an excuse, left untreated it can cause serious health problems. I've struggled with mine for years and finally got a doctor that realized Synthroid was not working for me. I have a problem converting T3 so Armour thryoid works best for me. After trying several exercise…

9-12 months ago?? But that was also at my heaviest (notice the above the head pose to minimize the double chin...lol). I'm waiting to lose a little more weight so I can change it to before/after side by side pics.

Grapefruit interferes with medications that I am on, so it's a good thing that I don't like it anyway. Grapefruit is not a good thing for everybody. There are plenty of other fruits out there that I love so I don't feel like I'm missing out.

1. Diet Coke or any products with aspartame in it. 2. Grapefruit (yuck!!) 3. Pasta, Macaroni and cheese 4. Bread (I will eat multi-grain wheat every once in awhile) 5. Sugar (replaced with Agave nectar or Stevia)

That is truly awesome! I hope that will happen when I lose my weight as well, but I've snored and had apnea even when I was skinny, but I don't think it was as extreme as it is now. Any improvement would be great. I'm so happy for you!!

I still have 140 lbs to go and I'm in it for the long haul as well. Everyone, feel free to add me as a friend also! Carol
