Because I rarely do chores, I use mine. Mind you, when I do chores its to spring clean a room. My hubby and kids do the cleaning and laundry for me (I am truly blessed). When I do chores I work up a sweat! If I do laundry, I hang it on the line. If chores was something I did daily, then I wouldnt count it.

I think Kashi makes a lower carb cereal... I havent really checked how many carbs though.

Nope... fight for him!

Same here... I can get all the carbs my brain or muscles "need" from veggies and fruits. Those who despise the thought of low carb do not have to deal with diabetes. Proteins, fats, veggies, and fruits - thats all we need. Grains are actually a processed carb and not good for diabetics.

Never heard of the Caveman diet...thanks I'll tell him!

I am sitting at home (day off) with a headache, waiting for my lil egg muffins (or fritatta or quiche) to finish cooking. I predict another non productive day unless the headache goes away. Hoping today is as successful as yesterday.

Some people are just hateful on these boards; they love to put others down. Also alot of people havent experienced broke! When you are broke, $1 can be too much to spend on weights. I agree with the person who said all you need is your own body weight. That sounds very productive to me! Good luck to you!

I drank it... til my *kitten* said no more!

cans of veggies are great hand weights. Also save old milk gallons, put water in them for heavier weights. Not sure what to use for legs (other than babies lol). You can even use your own body weight for resistance, using the furniture to do sits ups, etc.

oh oh pick me pick me! Right now I fluctuate between 229-234 even though the inches are going down.

Today is my first day (seriously) back on 17dd. I dont really see it as a low carb diet (other than the first cycle) so much as a way to learn how to eat good food. Your pics are the reason I recommitted myself to this plan. Good job!

If you dont take care of it now you will end up in my shoes. Doctors and nutrionists tell you the wrong things to eat! Milk is not bad for you! A lower carb diet is best. Learn to love veggies and fruits (in moderation). Learn to live without white flour and sugar. It sounds bland but there are so many yummy healthy things…

I tell cops where to go...I am a 911 dispatcher. At our PSAP we handle both emergency and non emergency calls and dispatch for city police, sheriff, city and county fire departments and EMS. I work 12 hr shifts at least 4 days a week. I pack my food for the shifts. Exercise is the challenge for me!
