This is the multi-million dollar question in my humble opinion. I am in my fifties and have dealt with this issue since I was about 7. If I had the answer I would be rich. Good luck to you and I'll be watching the replies myself.

We lived in Grand Forks for a little over 3 years from 91 to 94 when my sweet hubby proudly served in the US Air Force. Some very hardy people up there and friendly too!

I absolutely love Dannon Oikos plain Greek yogurt in both the non-fat and the full fat. Both are nirvana in my humble opinion. I add fruit to mine. If you wanted additional sweetness you could surely add your own sugar, honey, Truvia or whatever works for you. I agree with previous posters that what you might add would…

She has lost tons of muscle. She has kept her hair through massive vitamin taking and B12 shots.

Thank you SO much for this! This is exactly what I'm talking about. Be honest and own what you did. At the VERY least, say that you did an extremely low calorie diet. Don't "lie" and say you did it through low carb eating. It was eating 300 calories a day that made the weight come off. You could have done it eating 300…

This for sure. We are walking our owns paths in this life. I do need to let it go. I am a Christian and I know what I could truthfully do and what's she's doing isn't it. That being said I will do what my conscience allow and she will do her what hers allow and never the two shall meet. I thank all of you for your input. I…

I totally agree. It is NONE of my business and I DO worry about me. We are Christians and setting others up for failure is what really bothers me. Her "lying" let's others believe that if they "cut their carbs" they too will have her success. SO not true. The real reason she lost weight and lost it so quickly is because…

Unfortunately she thinks lying is fine. When I said something to her she got super defensive and has no plans of "owning" what she did. I guess she thinks people are gullible enough to believe her "story." NO one loses weight THAT quickly without starving or surgery.

Congrats! Also ... I love your name. Not a lot of Melinda's in the world. SO pretty!

I absolutely love my treadmill but I do agree, 4 miles an hour on the treadmill seems much faster than 4 miles an hour outside. I have a brand new gym quality treadmill so I'm pretty sure it's accurate.

Awe c'mon ... I absolutely adore that commercial with the camel. My VERY favorite for sure!!

You look amazing! SO much younger in the after. You actually look like you could be your own Mom in the first. Quite the transformation! Great Job!! :flowerforyou:
-
I do 80 minutes on my treadmill 3 times a week. I love watching DVD's. Most of them end up lasting close to that amount of time. It certainly makes the time fly by.

My mom loved that little rhyme ... "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will NEVER hurt me." It sounds good but words can cut deeply. All this being said, I am extremely proud of you. GREAT job. In the end, you will be the winner. In fact, you're the winner now. Beauty that shines from within is far better than…

I know exactly where you are. My family was stationed in Grand Forks for 3 years while proudly serving in the US Air Force. You are wonderful, hardy people up there! :flowerforyou:

I am SO jealous!! Absolutely adore Hawaii

Thrilled to call North Carolina home now. My family proudly served in the US Air Force for 20 wonderful years. Have lived from Florida all the way up to North Dakota and states in between. Hubby even served in Korea for a year. We are blessed! ():-)

Hello  I find that different brands of Greek yogurt taste quite a bit differently. Have you tried plain Greek in any other brand? I love Dannon Oikos Greek plain yogurt in both non-fat and traditional. I find them both quite creamy and not as "tangy" as Chobani. You save some fat and calories in the non-fat but I…

I absolutely hands down adore Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt. I love the traditional plain. It tastes like pure sour cream. YUM!!!

I think it's simply a personal preference. I have had both and I definitely love my treadmill more. I would suggest trying out both and go from there. Good luck on making your decision and great luck on improved health!

First and foremost, talk with your Dr. My feeling though is that he will want you to eat healthfully and not overeat which is what so many women do. They think "I am eating for two now. I can eat WHATEVER I want." BIG mistake. I maintained my weight during my first pregnancy. I ended up losing 20 pounds by doing this and…

I love the old style. I too am a Barbie loyalist. She wasn't broke ... don't fix her! :noway:

Congratulations Kat! You were beautiful before and you are beautiful now! :flowerforyou: Awesome accomplishment. You are living proof that it's NEVER too late to try again. Great Job!!

I take a generic form of that drug for my ET's. I exercise before taking my pill. That way my heart rate isn't affected. Hope this helps.

You look absolutely amazing! I just think your mind hasn't had time to catch up with your new body. I agree with other posters. Take some pictures and in time I bet you will start seeing how great you look too. Awesome job! Congratulations!!

I have but one thought about this matter. Matthew 7:1 “Judge not, that you be not judged. You said yourself, you don't know these women. There are numerous reasons for people being overweight. In my opinion ... enough said.

Joseph's Sugar Free Maple Syrup. It's so good I could "drink it" out of the bottle.

I wish I knew the answer. Are you eating mostly veggies and protein? Any whole grain type carbs? Are you eating enough or starving yourself? I'm short and in my fifties so the 1200 calorie rule doesn't work for me. I have to eat closer to 1000 calories to see any weight loss. You are young so I assume that isn't a problem…
