I'm just under 5'1 and I weigh about 105 lbs, which I'm very happy with. I've been keeping track of calories for a long time but I recently switched to focusing on adding a lot more protein and lowering fat. I have also been doing insanity for the past 2 1/2 months. My weight has stayed the same but I can tell I have more…

Bump! sounds good

I LOVE INSANITY. That's all I can really say.

I really doubt that burns 100 calories. Maybe like 50. Take, for example, the crunches...as far as I know crunches really don't burn many calories at all. The muscles that get worked are a very small group, and it's a very small movement.

Definitely eat more than 1500 - with the workouts burning AT LEAST 300 you wouldn't even get to the bare minimum of 1200 net a day. But, you're right I think 3000 is too high. I'd say try eating 1900ish for a couple weeks and see how that works for you. Edit: I just finished Insanity and I ate about 1700 a day, making my…

My family has bought a few boxes, kept one for ourselves then donated the rest to the local food pantry. Try that!

It's fine to go over in protein and fiber! Fat try not to go over too much, although you should definitely try to meet the goal (not be too far under) using good fats.

Smoothies! My favorites: 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, 3/4 smushy banana, 1 cup almond milk, 1 tbs peanut butter, and a few ice cubes blended together 1 scoop vanilla powder, 3/4 cup fat free greek yogurt, a handful of strawberries, a medium banana, almond milk, ice cubes

a bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough! mmm

Blueberries! I could eat a whole container.

I'll be doing Insanity Max Cardio and Conditioning and Cardio Abs this evening!

I just drink it mostly because I'm lactose intolerant. I used to drink skim milk. On the plus side though, almond milk has less calories and sugar.

I don't know. You have to live once in a while...I wouldn't miss out on Thanksgiving food, for example, just because of a diet. I don't have "cheat days" just for the sake of having one, but only if the situation calls for it. For example: Thanksgiving, Christmas, a family member's birthday party, my birthday, whatever. My…

Strength training! Also, plank exercises are great for your stomach. They pull in the rectus abdominis muscles, making your waist appear smaller. Search the internet for variations of the move.

I want to finish my 2nd round of insanity, and have those ripped abs I've always dreamed of so I can feel awesome in my bikini!
-
I've had one for about 7 months and I definitely think it's worth it....it's really helped me, especially since I've switched to maintenance. I enable the negative calorie adjustments, which prevents me from overeating and gives me a more accurate calorie count. I definitely believe this has really helped me in not gaining…

I don't usually have cheat days just for the sake of having one. When I "cheat" it's usually because there's some big event...i.e. Thanksgiving, a family member's birthday party, or family dinner out at a restaurant.

Maybe you should invest in a fitbit?

Your hips have shrunk and your arms are much more toned! Congrats :)

Whey protein powder (chocolate flavor), unsweetened vanilla almond milk. multigrain english muffins, peanut butter, strawberries, blueberries, kashi peanutty chocolate granola bars, oatmeal, greek yogurt, oatmeal bread, baked beans

Peanuts! Or an apple sliced up with peanut butter on it. Greek yogurt. A protein powder shake. A Carnation Instant Breakfast drink. A glass of vitamin rich no sugar added juice.

It's very likely this is just water weight or something to do with your menstrual cycle. Put the scale away for a week, eat right and check back in in 7 days!

Try blogilates.com - this trainer also has a great youtube channel. It's pilates and will definitely help you build muscle. I really recommend it!

I'm 5'0 and currently 105 lbs. Not planning on losing or gaining any more.
-
It's not necessarily bad to be under. You really don't want your net to be less than 1200 - that's really the bare minimum which you absolutely need. As long as you're above 1200 and you're not losing TOO much weight, it's okay to be under.

bump!

I know a lot of people do a second round of insanity (after a week or two rest period). I'm planning on doing another round when I'm done with this first one. After that I was thinking of doing les mills pump! You could try that (it's also from BeachBody). Except when I looked at the schedule, the cardio looked too easy so…

I've found it very helpful while in maintenance mode because I enabled the negative calorie adjustments (so if I'm having a very sedentary day calories are automatically subtracted from my daily allowance on MFP). I really think this helped me avoid gaining wait back because I got a much more accurate view of how much I…

Maybe it just hadn't synced when you went to bed but it did overnight? If you have a fitbit ultra to force a sync you can physically put it on the base station as if you were charging it. Try checking periodically throughout the day whether it's syncing
