Nobody seemed to pay attention to : I don't talk to people. Lol. AND I don't go to a gym. BUT if I am riding past someone and they are riding/running past me it seems rude to not nod or smile. Maybe its just me. SO...if someone smiles at you or nods you don't have to do the same back but you also don't have to give them a…

Dragon Con is coming up for me at the end of the summer and I plan to bring a lot of cliff bars/apples/bottled water. I carry a sling style purse that allows me to carry things easily because sometimes I've had to choose between grabbing junk food on the way to a panel or just not eating. Having portable snacks with me…

I'm SOOOO glad someone else posted about crack sweat. lol. I went bike riding with my hubby last week and wore a different pair of leggings than I usually wear. We rode for about 8 miles and stopped at our favorite yogurt shop for some froyo (they know us by site.) Place was VERY crowded and I didn't realize I had a crack…

Hahahahahaha! I totally get this! :)

Cracker Barrel is actually quite EASY for eating out. They've added a few new lighter options and they have more veggie choices than most places. Yes, a lot of their veggies have added sugar/butter/fat BUT still less calories than most side dish options anywhere else. The oven baked chicken breast is coated in cornflake…

In general...a cucumber bought from a local farmer would have the same calories as one bought at the grocery store. I don't think it really matters unless you just don't want people to see brand names in your diary and assume you shop in grocery stores.

I DO allow myself to go over my calorie goal some on the weekends. I know that if I go over my caloric goal for the week it will slow my progress, but slow and steady keeps if off. (also, for ME it is easier to keep going if I have Sunday lunch to look forward to.) you WILL see mixed opinions on the topic, but don't let it…

I don't quite get 2000 per day but I do eat most of my exercise calories back, making sure to never net under 1200. IF I need to make up calories I go for froyo or peanut butter, since I usually exercise after dinner so I've already finished my meal plan for the day.

No. Just No. SO MUCH NO!!! Your body needs fuel. NEVER do this. Sorry, but if you would eat your exercise calories back your metabolism would burn more and you would lose more. Tried and true.

I'm just following one I found on pinterest. Printed out the sheet and put it on my seat on our couch to shame me into doing it every day. lol. It is the one that starts with 20 seconds and moves up to 4 minutes but it is just one type of plank. THEN I'm moving on to the planks where you have a leg or arm raised. Day 2 was…

Anyone?

Thank you!!! Bumping to save for when I hit maintenance in a few months.

I'm right there with ya. After a month of maintenance I'm on day 2 of being back on track. Day 2 always KILLS me. I've already eaten ALL THE SNACKS. I still have almost 2 hours before I leave work. Looks like I'm raiding the snack cabinet! lol.

Are you eating back your exercise calories? Only asking because some people don't know to do that and they end up being super hungry. I'm a big evening snacker so I keep my calories low but filling during the day, and then snack at night. My diary is open if you want to look at yesterday as an example. :)

NICE!! I prefer found objects that can be purchased rather than sewing. I HATE my sewing machine. HATE.

Hahaha! Once you start Dragon*Con you won't stop! I'm hoping to get back to the weight I was in my costumed profile pic. Just need to update my Sister Of Battle armor. :) I'm also doing an Osgood from the Doctor Who 50th, but that is a FUN costume for my current body type.

Hahahaha! I got a TON of flack from my FB friends for stating that I was going to start taking Adipose.

We actually have to buy certain vegetables organic because my husband has bad reactions (like breathing issues) when he eats those in non-organic. I'm not saying everyone should...but it worries me that he can have NO reaction to organic green peppers and asthmatic issues with regular green peppers. And people say "there…

I went with the weight that I was at about 7 years ago when my husband asked me to no lose anymore. Should have listened because it is a weight that I am happiest at...I was just shooting for a certain number last time and obviously couldn't maintain that or else I wouldn't be doing it all over again.

What about an army surplus store? Do you have those?

For me, I HAVE to have one day "off" which is usually Sunday. Sometimes I try to save up exercise calories for the weekend, or do an intense workout on Saturday to cover some of it, sometimes I don't get to. BUT on the weeks were I still to my goals the other 6 days and take Sunday off (without going over more than 900…

I always go with what my body says and have snacks on hand just in case. But I can go from "I'm getting hungry" to "I WILL STAB A BABY SEAL FOR A COOKIE" without warning. *I also have blood sugar issues from previous ED. I usually don't go over 4 hours without having something. Actually...I have a snack every 2-3 hours.

Yes!!!

Um...isn't that the point of MFP? Kidding, but not really. This is the ONLY way I do it. I'm not about specific diet plans because I want this to be LONG TERM weight loss. I plan on keeping it off because when I get to maintenance I won't be all "YAY Now I can eat whatever I want!!!" because I have been eating what I…

I love how you tracked a "regular" day yesterday. It is helpful to see just how bad your choices were compared to what they will become. Best of luck in your journey!

Not counting last week (ate at maintenance) but I usually try to have 50-100 calories left over each day that I can save for Friday/Saturday (I never go below 1200 net) and then Sunday is my "off" day but I still try to be less than 1000 calories over for the week. And you know what? I've consistently lost 1 lb a week for…
