I'd like to chime in that this works. As others have said, it is calorie cycling. NOT "cheating". It is banking calories for the days you would normally go over. I have successfully lost weight this way in the past and am successfully losing (slowly, by choice) this way now. It is also a good way to maintain. It is foolish…

lololol. I'm a real person. It has been hard to get people to take the survey online because it looks like a spammy post. I even got a warning for posting it on the forums, even though I've been on MFP for over 4 years.

Thank you very much!

I can't keep cookies in the house at all. Donuts are my kryptonite, but they are not a binge trigger. I've developed a blood sugar issue due to several EDs (thankfully?) so I can't binge on donuts anymore because it is almost an instant sick feeling. Cookies for some reason don't result in the same blood sugar issues so…

Thank you! for the feedback. I've changed question 9 to make it more clear, hopefully. And, thank you for not deleting the post. I'll send a message before posting something like this again.

If this is not acceptable, please let me know.

Me too! Although I'm recovered and actually overweight at the moment I still struggle with ED thoughts. I am actually working on a research project for school related to treatments for ED. Would any of you be willing to take the survey for me? I posted on the forums but got a warning. I didn't realize that it would be bad…

Thank you!

Ok, thank you. It just took me soooo long to lose last time that I'm dreading it taking a long time to see results.

But that is just it, I have been eating more but I've been told to "trust fitbit for a few weeks". I know that eating more causes gain but then there is that whole "eat more to lose" mentality so I was trusting the fitbit. I was contemplating doing that. Did it work for you?

I figured out that I have to add manually from the computer not the app for some reason.

I meant non step. Exercise that isn't step based. And actually, I went back and deleted the record and added it back and it logged correctly so it it must have been a glitch. thanks for the reply.

okay, I have read the entire thread looking for an answer to my problem. & I haven't found one. I just need to know how to log activities on my Fitbit and get accurate calories. I am talking about no one step activities with a Fitbit flex. the other day I logged 39 minutes on my stationary bikeand Fitbit only estimated 51…

Do you drink diet soda or eat things with artificial sweeteners? Artificial sweeteners have been known to lower your potassium levels and a side effect is leg cramps. *I am not a medical professional but this was told to me by a medical professional. I gave up all artificial sweeteners for a month and they went away, but…

Thank you! It is helpful to get more input.
-
Thank you both for the input. :) I wasn't able to get in extra exercise as I was working on my days off from my regular job. :(
-
Only 2708! About 900 ish over for the day.
-
I'm so proud of my day yesterday. I logged everything and I came in at 2708 for the day! I'm at maintenance so I was only over by around 900 calories!
-
That is what I'm trying to do as well. I've been trying to stay during the week so I have extra room on the weekends.

I never weighed every day when I was losing because I would only focus on the number on the scale, which isn't healthy for me. I weighed for the first time in 2 weeks and I am up 1 lb, but that could be from too much sodium yesterday or actual gain from increased calories. Will wait until next week to weigh again, because…
