  • I lost 75lb several years ago over 18 months, I exercised the whole time, not madly, but fairly consistently and had minimal loose skin (mainly arms) - I was 40 at the time. Have gained the weight back and i'd way rather have a bit of loose skin that all these lbs back again..
  • South London as well.
  • really amazing pics - massive congrats.
  • Hi, personally, I find snacking is my downfall so if I coud not snack that woud be great. You are bound to feel hungrier if you are exercising more so maybe eat slightly larger meals to get you through or some fruit as above poster suggested.
  • I lost 75lbs about 3 years back and my whole wardrobe was size 12/14 uk. I had medical issues and gain back 50lbs so now have great wardrobe at a good size for me and several black tent like things I now wear! One pair of my small jeans are the most amazing fit so I'd love to get back into those .
  • nope, a stone is definately 14lbs and while we're talking numbers, a kilo is 2.2lbs :-). Good luck to everyone with their weight loss journeys.
  • Hi Amanda, welcome to the site. I had a very similar attitude to you ie, can't lose weight, no will power etc but 4years ago I dug deep and lost 75lbs and I truly amazed myself and I'd always believed that only other people lst large amounts of weight. Unfortunately to several operations ive put a lot of this back on over…
  • Hi, sounds just like me! Am always snacking and eating and need to lose about 50lbs for health reasons. I live in London and would be happy to buddy up with you and see how we get on.
  • Hi, I was the same when I lost 75lbs before, even though i'd dropped 5 UK dress sizes and was down to a 12, I'd still go into shops and pick up bigger sizes. your pics look great, its something that you have to get use to, especially if you've been bigger for a long time beforehand. You'll be fine. x
  • Hi, 3 years ago I lost 75 lbs over 18 months. Then around 18 mths ago the motivation just went plus a couple other problems and now I'm 30 lbs over again. I really need to lose the 30lb plus another 10. Im determined to get to that goal and regain the motivation that I once had for weight loss. We really can do this but…
  • Hi, I would let Mfp do the calculations but be careful to only add cardio if you go over and above your normal routine. Ie, don't add normal housework and everyday walking etc but if you do extra stuff like gym or serious spring clean or heavy duty gardening then be sure to add those and eat them. Good luck
  • Usually, if I'm gonna cheat it's on weigh day and yesterday I went about 1k over - not too huge but cant be repeated too often!
  • Hi I'm an old hand at weightwatchers and remember back to the original days of colours over 20 years ago. I've had moderate success over the years but never stuck to it properly until a couple of years back and then life overtook and I gained a chunk back. regarding the veggies and fruit...salad and green veggies are…
  • Hi, I'm a classic serial dieter and although I lost lots of weight a couple of years back, half of it crept on due to health issues and slipping back into bad eating habits. I've realised that I need to focus on the day to day and long term. I have a good amount to lose but hope that by not over stressing about every bite…
