Made the bed and emptied the dishwasher

The one of my eyes is a week old. The others in my profile are anywhere from a month to a year. Except the really fat one and the one from the beauty pageant. The fat one is about 10 years ago and the beauty pageant is 34 years ago.

Been sick for a few days and now there is a storm blowing in ( on 25 to 50 mph winds). I was able to get some miles in yesterday and today, anyway, but I"m behind by about 30 miles for the week. I'll have to make it up somewhere, once I don't need a sail to ride!

He snores all freaking night like a grizzly bear with adenoid problems and keeps me awake. He slept 14 hours straight last night. I got about 4 hours, due to his snoring. So when I laid down to take a nap today, what does he do, lays down and starts roaring again before I can fall asleep. I lay here and consider smothering…

Been down sick for a few days and we are expecting snow tomorrow. I'm about 30 miles behind schedule on my miles. Bummer
-
Went to the gym as scheduled and started lifting again. And got in another 15 miles on my bike even though I felt yucky with allergies or a cold or something.
-
Fighting cold or allergies or something. Not quite up to speed here, but got a few miles in.

Ketoacidosis is a medical risk. Ketosis is the body burning fat for fuel instead of carbs. And for some people it is medically necessary. I have Hashimotos' Thyroidits and I can eat 1200 calories a day, work out and burn a good number of calories and still gain weight if I am eating carbs. I have to hold my carbs under 50…

Winter is hard on me and I really start to lag. My goal for March was to get my butt in gear and moving. I wanted to bike 300 miles in March and I hit 301. My goal for April is to bike 400 miles and add in strength training at the gym 2 days a week and light training at home 3 days a week. Also to remember to take my…

And I'm off! Added another 100 miles to the goal.

It never gets old. After I lost 100 pounds I would run into people I hadn't seen in a long time and they would look puzzled for a second, then there would be a slow dawning and then this stunned look. Just never gets old. Enjoy it!

Thank you so much! I did a bike in Northern Caifornia, in Fall River Mills. It was a metric century ride, I think about 60 miles. I refer to it as the scenic tour of HELL! It was 105 degrees and there was NO shade. There were trees all over the sides of the road but they weren't casting any shade on the road. I got some…

Hi Taunto...One of my very awesome friends.

DONE! There is a storm coming in that will last through the end of the month, so I had to get up at five and start in the dark and a light rain to get in my 27 miles to finish it off.
-
Another 25 miles tonight. Half of it in a 15mph headwind! NOT pleasant! I'm pushing to hit my goal.
-
Checking in.

Only 15 miles this morning. I felt so sluggish. When I was loading my bike back up, I took a drink of some of my water and there was ice chunks in it. It had frozen while I was riding. No wonder I was sluggish. I was freezing to death! It was 28 degrees out there!

Updating ticker. Off the bike for 4 days due to weather and schedule. Then as soon as I got on today, I got my foot stuck in my clip and went over sideways and bashed up my knee. Did my 20 miles anyway. Scuffed through a pair of leggings and thick sweat pants, large bruise forming and some swelling. Nice one!

30 miles on Saturday.
-
Cracked me up.
-
Great ride this morning, except that it was 38 degrees and I'm chilled to the bone now and can't get warm. Another 23.5 miles.
-
Another 10
-
Up to 135 as of last night.

I set myself a goal to ride 300 miles in March. The weather is iffy and I was afraid there might be too many bad days, but I've ridden in freezing temps some mornings to get the miles in. I'm currently at 100 for the month.
-
Nada. But it creates quite a scene in the doctor's office.

You Can Leave Your Hat On. I prefer the Michael Grimm version.

When the guy at the river won't rent you one of the mini jet boats because he says you're too big. When you're afraid to ride a roller coaster because those bar thingies never seem to click all the way down over your stomach or across your giant boobs. So glad those days are over. The first time I flew after I lost 100…

Man isn't this the truth! I don't go completely without carbs but I keep them very low due to a thyroid condition. I do ok without eating sweets. But if I decide to blow it and eat something sweet, it takes me days to rein myself in! It sets off cravings of nuclear proportions.
