  • Most recently that I can look at on here. Goal: 1750, Goal+exercise:2176, total for the day:2998. I know I have had worse days when I wasn't tracking, but this one was in the past month since I have been back on here.
  • Tell him good luck. Often times we are our own worst enemies on those test because we can psych ourselves out.
  • I grew up on a farm and always had labor intensive jobs. Then I got a desk job but didn't change my eating habits. Not a good combination.
  • I stopped logging for about 8 months. I gained about 8 lbs. It was slow enough that I didn't really notice but then I started to notice my clothes were not fitting as well. So I decided to start logging again about 3 weeks ago and have already dropped a couple of the lbs I had gained.
  • I still log midnight to midnight with 00-04, 04-08, 08-12, 12-16, 16-20, and 20-24. My shifts go all over the place so trying to log as each awake period as a day doesn't work well. I tried doing that at first, but when switching from days to swings to mids in no rational order, logging in time slots just made things…
  • Try these Groups: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/126-tall-women http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/107-totally-tall-women-of-mfp Groups full of awesomely tall women. I am 6'0" as well and it bothered me all the time growing up when my friends would start calling themselves fat at 130-140lbs. I was always…
  • There are a couple tall women groups on here you can go to as well. Just search tall women and you should get at least one or two. :) 6'0" here and only have 5-10 vanity lbs left to lose. Being tall is awesome because we get to have more food than the shorties.
  • I really really wanted an Adipose after that episode. I didn't care if it came from me or not. I am still considering ordering a stuffed one from online.
  • Same weight and goals as me. :) I have a small to medium frame and not much muscle. Plus am pear shaped, so my upper body looks fine to me now but my thighs need to catch up. Trying to do more weight lifting now to try and help that out.
  • When I get French fries with ketchup packets, I squeeze a little bit on each fry individuality.
  • I need at least one shower and one red bull a day. Sometimes more than one.
  • I am active duty Air Force now. Really just making sure that you are good for the running, push-ups, and sit-ups you will be fine. Running is more of a speed than a distance event. It is a 1.5 mile run. So maybe so some speed work with running rather than all long distance runs. We have a lot of people having problems with…
  • I rarely get hit on by anyone my age, or even older than me for that matter. I seem to attract the 21-22 year old guys. I don't really get it.
  • Since it was a weekend, tonight alcohol won out. :) This all became more of an issue since my ex (who was on the same shift as me) and I broke up last weekend. So all the time I used to spend with him is now alone time, but am working to find ways to fill it so I am not sitting at home being depressed.
  • I read an insane amount already, mainly because I can bring up the kindle app at work so I read during down time. I am not musically inclined, I tried when I was younger but realized that singing was the way to go. I want more ways to get out of my house and meet new people, but seeing how I only even see my current…
  • I managed to work it with my bosses to start taking classes in person next month, so then at least I will have homework to do. Being a crime fighter would be awesome! Alcohol is not as much fun when you get to the bars when most people are already buzzed/drunk.
  • Bump... Anyone?
  • I really try not to let it bother me, but more than a couple inches shorter than me and it starts feeling awkward, I know that's my problem not theirs though. I am 6'0" so prefer guys to be 5'10" or taller.
  • 6'0" female. Currently around 162, was down to 153 last fall and gained happy relationship weight over the winter. Now the relationship is gone, so I decided the weight needs to go away too. Soo... I would say 150-155 as a goal.
  • I am 6'0" in the US. Don't really have much more to lose so eat just below maintenance. But feel free to add me :)
  • I like the taste of them. I prefer the Blue Machine though because it actually does have fiber in it. I think either 13-14g for the 15 oz bottle, 7 grams per serving. I think the Mango Veggie one has about 10 for the bottle or 5 per serving.

  • There is at least one other tall women group. I know I am a member of two. I had to join because the numbers for them made so much more sense for me, I hated seeing posts about people feeling so fat at 150 when that is my ultimate goal weight.
  • I can see some minor changes. It is part of the curse of being tall. Your weight changes will not be as visible as they would be on someone shorter. There is actually a thread on this in one of the Tall Women groups. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/731094-tall-girls-and-visible-weight-loss I know it can be horribly…
  • You can add me if you want. I am currently active duty as well, and lost ~35lbs last year after I realized I was putting my career in danger by being lazy. I may not always log food on here since I am in maintenance, but I will be for the next couple months because I am training for a tough mudder this summer and think…
  • She may have just hit her growth spurt early. I was 5'10" in 6th grade, hit 6'0" in 7th and never grew again.
  • I went from a full 34C down to a 32C. I wish they had stayed at the 34C, even though it is not a big change. They just look so small on my body.
  • Sizes are generally not the best to go by because they can vary so much by body type. Let's say if you are a pear like me. I started in a size 14, took 20lbs to get to a 12, another 10 to get to size 10.
  • Actually women can be healthy in the high teens, it just takes a lot of work for them to stay in that category. Classification Men (bf%) Women (bf%) Essential Fat: 2-4 10-12 Athletes: 6-13 13-20 Fitness: 14-17 21-24 Acceptable: 18-25 25-31 Obese: 25% & higher 32% & higher *ETA That diagram came out funny but basically…
  • I will give my opinion that it is doable, but will be difficult. Even more so since you are trying to get down into the athletic range for a female. I dropped from 37.6% to 27.8% over 3 months last spring/summer. Over the 3 following months I only dropped 5% down to 22.7%. This was working out for an 30-60 min 4-6 times a…
  • Your BMR is probably higher than 1200 so you should be eating a little bit more than that. I am 6'0" and I started at 193lbs, my BMR was around 1550. My happy spot for losing weight was/is between 1500-1900 cal a day depending on how much exercise I do. I was also losing between 1 and 1.5 lbs a week at this amount. I have…
