I go to the gym the same amount in winter as summer. Its just habit - I don't let myself even think about it - just grab my bag at 11.45am and go. I probably walk a little less, but still have my walk to work, and walk to shops/library etc.

I like MyProtein. It's pretty cheap too, but most of the flavours taste pretty good. I struggle to eat enough protein.
-
No - I just go by what it says on the packet. But I'm sort of in maintenance and log fairly loosely.

I have occasionally had a bit of a problem with constipation - I have found that taking a probiotic a couple of times a day has helped a bit. Obviously I drink lots of water and try to keep my fibre consumption at a reasonable level too.

That's a good plan. I will drag something over next week - I only have access to a gym at work Monday-Wednesday. Or I could sneak up the playground again :)

Starting a little cut this week - after a sort of 'accidental' bit of bulking :s Need to up my training days from a lazy 2 to a more acceptable 3/4. My upper body muscles are ok when the 2/3 of kilos of fluff go away, but my weight mostly sits around my thighs, so I have been doing some more leg work lately.

I've been doing an (unintentional) lazy bulk! That is, only working out twice a week and eating a few too many snack. Definitely want to do a little 6 week cut before the xmas period starts. So will drop that snacks and try to make myself do at least one extra work out a week. I want my abs and nice shoulders properly…

I want a pull-up bar! I sneakily had a go on the monkey bars at the park (when no-one was around) and managed 3! I was quite surprised actually. I don't know if I can even reach the ones in the gym as I am such a short-*kitten*.

If you don't have much fat any muscles will show very quickly - so you are actually very lucky!
-
you just need to start weight training.

Meat isn't necessary, nor are expensive supplements, but you do need to eat a balanced diet - pulses, avocados, nuts, fruit, vegetables (to be honest, you should be eating all of those regardless of whether or not you eat meat). And making sure you are eating enough of those things during the day that you aren't starving -…

I have a glass as soon as I go downstairs in the morning, then a cup of tea. When I get to work I have a small cafetiere of coffee. Then water all day - I keep a refillable litre bottle on my desk and just use it to fill my glass. Every time I stop working to think/whatever I try to have at least half a glass. I don't…

Do people on here send unsolicited nude photos?!? How odd. I'm very jealous of your owning an alpaca - they are so cute and funny! Friend me if you like - I'm 54, want to lose a couple of kilos and improve my strength training, married, have a step daughter (31, with a 2 year old son), a step son of 28, and an 18 year old…

Peri was blinking awful. Permanently tired because I couldn't sleep, tetchy, loss of libido (dryness - eugh), awful frequent heavy periods. However, I did lose quite a bit of weight. Then got past that and am on HRT. Pluses of which are sleep relatively ok, not irritable, minuses are that I have put on some weight, and get…

I find that you don't really need to bother much with specific bicep exercises. If you do some bench pressing, shoulder raises and presses, and maybe a few skull crushers your biceps come along just nicely!

I wouldn't consider something that far away. I belong to a gym near my work, so I can go lunchtimes, and when I leave this job next year, I will join one near home - must be within walking distance as I can't be bothered to drive! Luckily a gym has recently opened about 10 mins walk from my home, so it will probably be…

I tend to look up something similarish, and make sure I overestimate, as restaurant food tends to be very calorific (with extra oil/butter etc etc). But then, I don't eat out that often. Maybe once or twice a month or so.
-
Now those crumpets (with about half a kilo of butter!) look exactly what I want to eat right now! Although I would probably add a bit of marmite for salty loveliness.
-
What does RIR mean please?
-
Lift weights and eat more - like Chiflrg said - there are easy ways to add a couple of hundred calories a day - peanut butter, normal butter, nuts, avocado. A couple of biscuits will do it! Not too hard.
-
Cut out the snacks til xmas. I am usually pretty good, but they have been sneaking in and have put on a couple of kilos. Annoying.
-
Not very accurate - I often don't bother including low calorie items, and guesstimate a lot of things, but it keeps me more or less at maintenance. I need to tighten up a bit now for a few weeks, as I would like to drop a couple of kilos before the xmas food and drink onslaught.
-
I had it and it lasted for ages - I don't think there is an awful lot you can do.
-
I would think that even with careful weighting etc you are lucky to get within 100 calories of the actual amount you consumer 9due to rounding errors/individual food items not being exactly the same blah blah blah). Who cares? anything to put in is an approximation.
-
Don't log your exercise is surely the easiest?
-
I'm confused!
-
What on earth are you saying? Can you please post in some sort of acknowledged language? Or am I correct in translating your last post as I take drugs, I'm natural, I'm vegan, I eat food standing up?????
-
How long have you been tracking for?
-
@PAPYRUS3 - whatever that is - I really really want it!
